The small one is great for portability. Furthermore, because of its flexible nature, it is actually much easier than carrying multiple stands, one at home, one in your car and so on. And if you were worried for its flimsy nature then get ready for a skeleton made using British premium grade steel with a tight coat of SoftTouch rubber on top. Basically, the smaller spider holder is great for portable or tiny devices, regardless of where you go. As for the larger spider holder, it looks absolutely similar in styling to the smaller one except for a larger and studier stronger frame that can easily grip just about anything. The sturdy grip is perfect for an internet tablet, larger ones and smaller ones too. This particular spider holder however is excellent for unlimited uses that include holding large SatNavs, big tablets or even namecards if the need ever arises! Together you can make use of them, with one placed in the car and the other inside the house, using them alternatively as the need arises. A Spider holder is not much different from other kinds of holders except for the fact that it has eight legs, each independently movable and because of this you can orient both the stands as you like depending on what it is that you are exactly trying to prop up.

Spider holder for IPad and Tablet
Cindy MartinI ordered a spider holder which I did receive in a 5 star time period, but my complaint with the item is this. Last spring I had ordered a spider for my iPad through another company paying less than I'm paying for this one but the rubber on it is about twice as thick. I also ordered one just a few weeks ago for son and daughter-in-law payed twice as much for it and the quality is poor. Very thin rubber coating covering wire and wire keeps breaking, also I paid twice as much for it. So you see I'm afraid the one ordered through Amazon will do the same thing. I can't reorder from where first one was bought as they are out of stock and don't know when or if they will be able to get any more in. Left wondering what to do, Cindy Martin

Great creative play toy but.....
No instructions. Coating comes off on your fingers and can't seem to hold much of anything. Probably a nice money-maker for the seller, but worthless for the buyer.. Save your $10!

handy affordable little invention
I have the phone sized one, and it has so many uses!! I bought this one for a gift for my dad's tablet I got him...but I know it will have as many uses as the other one.

the phone holder broke within the first 5 days of use. We never even tried the iPad holder. The return process is less than desired.

Great Holder For Tablets!
The Spider Holder is an amazing product that I would recommend to anyone looking for a very convenient and easy way to prop your tablet up. It works great with my iPad and I can use it just about anywhere. I travel for work a lot and usually take my iPad with me for business purposes, and the Spider Holder assists well in any environment. The grip is sturdy to ensure my IPad does not fall or topple over. I have used tablet stands before, but none of them worked quite as well. Overall it’s a great product with multiple uses.
