BAZIC 3-Ring Pencil Pouch w/Mesh Window for School, Home, or Office (Box of 24)

I'm giving this a 2-star review because the colors in the picture do not accurately represent the colors you will receive. I ordered the 24 pack and received 6 colors, 4 of each: - Purple - Lime Green - Hot Pink - Yellow - Orange - TealThese are NOT the colors shown in the picture. If you look at this product's details for "Color" it says "Photo", implying if you look at the photo you'll see the colors you will receive. That is now only true due to the picture I've uploaded.Edit: It appears I may have gotten the wrong item with the coloring. If you do get the wrong coloring that is not shown in this picture I'd suggest returning the items.

The mesh is the only drawback. I use them to keep the students away from the pencil sharpener. THey have a set amount of pencils and they are responsible for them works great. These have lasted the entire year

Teachers out there!! You all know about the web site where we purchase teaching materials from others with our same occupation. I found an idea on one of those sites which requires these pouches. You give the kids one of these with 6-8 sharp pencils and a small eraser in it on Monday. Then on Friday, if kids still have the same amount of pencils (dull but not chewed or broken) they are rewarded. The process is WONDERFUL! No pencil sharpening all week long--just a good bit over the weekend. Try it!

These things are extremely handy for storing various things like iPad/iPhone accessory cables, USB wires, power supply wall-worts, etc. Add a carabiner and they become a perfect tote bag that attaches to laptop bags etc. Great for toiletry items and packing for short trips. It goes way beyond school pencils, pens, protractors, compases, and rulers.I love them! My only wish is that you could order many in one color and not have to buy them in the Red, Black, Green, and Blue combination. (Partial to Green and Blue and their other colors.)Still, a great buy!!!

The pouches were fine, and practical for storage. However, I was really looking forward to the light colors: light green, light blue and pink. And I received NONE, only black, red, green and dark blue... Although in the order it was written that I would receive these colors...

I purchased these with a little hesitation because of the mesh window. My thinking was that my students would tear it but so far it has held up. I have 4/5 graders using these and they stuff it to the limit and none of them have ripped yet which is a miracle. I believe the ones I got where cheaper because it was a returned item. They seemed like they were not sewn with straight lines so some of them were a little slanted but we used them and the kids never noticed and it was a great deal.

I purchased these for my classroom upon recommendation by another teacher as a way to control losing pencils and curbing the dreaded pencil sharpener noise during instruction. That teacher referred to it as the "pencil war". So far I am winning the "pencil war" thanks to these pouches. I can happily say I haven't heard " I don't have a pencil" or "can I sharpen my pencil" thus far this school year! The colors are nice and bright and they feel sturdy enough to last at least one school year with daily usage.
