As the title says, it’s tedious work using a stencil. However, the results are great. The stencil itself is really sturdy and easy to align as you move along. A word of advice would be that if you have a corner you’re going around, start there and work you’re way out. This was my first time stenciling and if I can do it, anyone can. The design is big enough to not overpower the wall with a HUGE design, but it so small that it looks ultra busy and gives you vertigo looking at it. We looked at MANY of these and settled on this one because the design itself wasn’t busy but there was just enough detail to not make it look like a simple, boring geometric pattern. Take your time and let each round of stenciling dry before you move into the next one. Like I said, tedious, but worth it.

I wish someone had mentioned that stenciling takes a REALLY long time to complete. I had wallpaper in my water closet and half bath. To remove the wallpaper, prepare the walls for painting, paint the walls, and, finally, stencil the walls in one half bath and one water closet took me five days (about 8 hours per day). I love the outcome, just didn't know how time-consuming stenciling is. Also, these stencils are expensive. The job could have been sped up considerably if I had three or four stencils to work with instead of just one.

The stencil works well and is pretty easy to match up. I never stenciled before and I screwed it up the first time and had to start over with a new stencil. My one suggestion is for a big wall get a 2nd stencil. Towards the end it started to gum up and it almost didn’t make it the whole wall.I’m no expert, but next time I would have 2 just in case. As other have pointed out… dry roller or else it will bleed.Very happy with how this turned out. If the stencil would have lasted well for the whole wall I would have given it 5 stars.

This job was labor intensive but the stencil held up well. I used painter’s tape instead of spray adhesive and it worked fine. The job took about 7 hours...there was a lot of down time waiting for the paint to dry before moving on.

The potential is there, I can see it! Maybe it was the choice of paint. Maybe it was the lack of skill. It definitely ended due to a lack of patience. This is why we don't have nice things haha

Looks great and elegant, easy to clean and reusable

This arrived ROLLED in a cardboard tube. It is impossible to get it to lay flat against the wall making it absolutely unusable. I've had it laying for a week under heavy objects to try to flatten it out and it still is curling on the wall and making a messy, horrible outline. Do not buy.

This stencil is made from good quality material and was easy to use- I applied this pattern, with black floor paint, to my drab basement cement floors. Even my critical college aged kids were impressed- seriously, if you stand back and behold the finished result, it almost fools the eye to think you’ve installed Moroccan floor tile!!
