I saw this hammer in a video on the Tremont Nails site and had to have one. I occasionally build projects using their cut nails and was impressed with the technique used with this hammer for bending over the interior nail that eliminates the occasional breakage when using a flat head hammer. I'm looking forward to my next project using this technique, I have had to replace too many broken nails over the decades.

Removed the lacquer finish on the handle, applied a couple coats of tung oil, a stain and this perfect. Wish I had picked this up earlier. Great feel and balance, good weight.

This hammer is very well made. The wedge was sticking out a bit but that was not an issue. The head was fixed just fine and he handle was made very well. I expect this hammer will last quite a long time.

I love this hammer. The domed side makes it easy tp drive a nail without leaving an elephant footprint. Great feel in the hand, too.

Just wondering if anyone else has had the problem of the head flying off while using this hammer, due to the wedge coming loose/out due to the handle splitting. This may just be an anomaly, because I have a lot of Japanese-made woodworking tools, all excellent. Paid just under $50 for this same item at WoodCraft. Gonna return that one and buy this one, because if something is going to fail, I'd like to pay a lot less for it.

Wonderful tool. Well balanced. You have a lot of control by the way it's designed. I love it. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
