Great Watch (scratches easily however)
This watch looks gorgeous. I think it's a really good watch especially for the low price tag. However, it is a rather small band so if you don't like that sort of thing then I wouldn't recommend. But I can definitely say this is a great watch for a high schooler. Edit: I've had this watch for about a year and I think I've got some things to add. Firstly, it keeps track of time quite well and I'm a fan of the tiny clicking noise of the movement. However if you don't like that then I would not recommend. It is a great watch and I have received several compliments with wearing it consistently. This is my first watch ever (which I bought) and for that it will hold a special place in my heart. After having it for a year I intend on buying myself a new one (this is also special because I got it at the beginning of my freshman year. The downside of it is the crystal and band. The gold on the band scratches easily (within a few months) and it has received a beating and has several scratches in the crystal. I would highly recommend it (at the price I got it 48$) but at 70$ it will feel overpriced. Still keeping it 5 stars because it was my first watch!

Good watch, but don't like the expansion band
It is TIMEX. That sums up all. It is a good, low priced watch. Like most other TIMEX watches, this one works fine, a bit loud for a wrist watch, though. In a silent room you can hear the second's hand tick. The best part is that the watch is small (about 35mm in diameter excluding the crown), so it is good for people with narrow wrists. The dial is easy reader, with both day and date function. The Indiglo feature helps you read the time anywhere anytime. The bad part is the expansion band. It catches your hair if you have a hairy hand. The band is too narrow with just 16mm width. TIMEX should come up 20mm (non-expandable) bands for this watch.

Affordable and good looking Timex watch
Bought for a Christmas gift for my late father, as this reminded me of the type of watches he had used when I was a child, with the stretchy metal band and big dial face. Dad loved having a new watch for Christmas 2024 and used it daily faithfully until he passed February 2025. My husband now has it and wears this gorgeous, well priced watch in honor of Dad. There is a nice neon green backlight accessed via the dial button. The black face enables the gold colored numbers to stand out. The stretch band fits comfortable around any hand and feels good on the wrist to wear all day. Husband saw me doing this review and agreed, "It's a beautiful watch!"

Attractive watch needing better instructions
Nice, inexpensive watch. I have had great experience with Timex watches. I had trouble setting the day display on this particular watch when I first received it. But I was able to easily return the watch and quickly received a replacement. I had the same problem setting the day display on the replacement watch, but on YouTube I found the correct, but unexpected method for doing this. There are no instructions included with this watch for setting the day display. The watch, with all its features, is now working fine.

just okay
I initially was happily surprised when I destroyed the box, it's a much more beautiful watch than the photo suggests. The dial isn't black or a matte color, in the daylight it's metallic sheeny gray steel. And the gold stands out much brighter than in the pic. Very pretty. It's small like for a woman or child. The band won't fit a bigger wrist. Luckily it just gets around my big hand to slide on my small wrist. I prefer metal stretch bands, they're easy, retro, and the buckles are difficult for me at this age with poor sight and arthritis. This one works well for slimmer wrists but again it's smaller in keeping with the watch size, less width and shorter. It's not near the size or dazzling appearance of the bands of my Armitron or Wenger. Speaking of which for the same cost Armitron and especially Wenger is a far superior build and quality. I think Timex has sank to the lowest level of watches that are still acceptable. I can swim in my Armitron and Wenger. I wouldn't with this. It's cheaper in every way. But keeps good time. And glows. The luminescent hands on my Wenger glow brighter than the Timex indiglo light. Here's the caveat. Both I and someone with better hands tried vainly to adjust the day. It's not difficult or timetaking, it's broken. It just doesn't work. Period. We found the setting and turning doesn't do anything. From reviews many people had this problem. Time and date adjust fine. I paid only $25. I may or may not keep it. I probably won't buy another Timex.

Perfect Size for Small Wrists
A perfect watch for 5.75-to-6 inch wrists, with a non-adjustable expansion wrist band that is too big. Actually, you can remove some of the links, but it is very difficult to do. I would recommend you bring it to a jeweler or watch repair shop to get the wrist band down to your size. I have a six-inch wrist and had to remove six links, which was extremely difficult, even with the right tools. It looks stunning and well worth the price.

What a little beauty!
This reviews is about the Timex T26481 First and foremost, the watch itself. What I like: 1- keeps accurate time 2- 35mm case is what attracted me to this model in the first place. I love small cases. 3- Day and date – they’re a must, for me. 4- All 12 numbers showing in gold, with a 2 tone case: beautiful! 5- indiglo – this has now become a must, to see time anywhere and at any hour. Second, the bracelet. I noticed a lot of reviews complain about the length of this band, being not “extra long”. If you look again on the presentation page, you will see 2 options for this watch: the 1st being for a regular band, at $69.95. the 2nd being for “Extra Long Stainless Steel Expansion Band”, at $99.32. If you picked the first choice, don’t be surprised that the band is NOT extra long. This is not a wrong presentation/advertising, but simply a consumer selection error. You can only blame yourself here. I personally can’t stand stretch bands, My dad used to wear them about 50 years ago. Always pulling your hair, and leaving marks on your skin. My solution was to find a different band/bracelet to replace this one. Unfortunately, the lug-to-lug distance is only 16mm, so it’s a bit difficult to find a replacement band that will fit. I had to improvise, by taking a 20mm leather band and carefully cut off 2mm on each end. See photos. Conclusion: I love this watch, it deserves 5 stars (but only 1 star for the band). I would probably buy it again, if needed.
