Satin Ice Fondant for Cake Decorating, Orange (5 Pound)

Very dry fondant. Cracked and tore and I kneaded it for more than half an hour. Not worth the money.

I’ve used this brand of fondant before so I’m reviewing before opening the bucket. I like this brand for many reasons. Especially for covering cakes, for cookies, and for texture and taste ( even though I don’t like the taste of commercial fondant). Better doesn’t mean I like it. My kids like it and can eat it alone. The only thing I don’t like it for is modeling and decorations that I want to dry out to hold shape. It shapes well but can sag out of shape with the weight or contact with icing/frosting. I hope that’s helpful.

This is most definitely not for beginners! It tears, splits and becomes way to hard to fast!

I ordered orange fondant but came as baby pink... Someone mislabeled the tub because it has a baby pink label from satin ice and also a smaller label that says orange. I would still order again because I love satin ice fondant. I just hope I get the right color next time.

When I received the product today it says best by May of 2020 and I had just ordered the product and then it’s says this product is not avail for return. Very upsetting I won’t be ordering anymore product from them anymore. And someone had stuck a barcode sticker over the best by date.
