Quality Light, Mount and Performance
I mounted this light on my 370 fps compound crossbow. Being a crossbow your mounting options are considerably limited. For comparison my crossbow has a total of 16 1/2" of available picatinny rail whereas my AR has 49". The forward grip and bow quiver are already using 7" of that valuable space leaving a mere 9.5" for other accessories. The offset mount, which I found to be a good quality mount, was essential in my case and allowed me to mount the light exactly where I was hoping it would fit without interfering with my reflex red dot.The light itself is very bright and unlike an earlier review I read which stated the maximum output for this LED was 680 lm, CREEs datasheet states a maximum output of 1040 lm. The lights case and lens appear to me to be constructed using high quality material and tight manufacturing specs. And I particularly like having the option to use either the pressure or tactical switch. In case you are unaware of the difference, the "pressure" switch is a momentary switch allowing you to turn the light on and off quickly by simply pressing and letting go of the switch. The "tactical" switch is an actual on/off switch, press once to turn the light on, press again to turn it off. With a critter treed at night it is a lot easier to be able to simply turn the light on using the tactical switch instead of having to maintain pressure on the momentary switch. I will be replacing all of my pressure switches with this type of switch. It was a dark and gloomy night when the infamous archer known as Robin Hood nervously took out the magical light tube the stranger had left with him (and that's why I'm not a writer). However, when I tested it this light it had no problem making my target as visible as daylight from 100' and penetrated the branches of tallest fir tree all the way to the top. You can run, but you can no longer hide!!Overall I am very impressed with this light, particularity at this price.

Extremely nice and budget friendly. A+
This is actually quite a nice light for the cost. The 45 degree picatinny mount is a great bonus and sits nicely on the rail; it can easily be removed when necessary. The pressure switch so far has been reliable and the light is extremely bright. Certainly enough to light up a large, dark room. You will need to supply your own batteries. I actually prefer this as you're not paying for a sub-par battery. For the price, this is a great deal; in fact, I'm going to pick another one up.

Decent light for the money.
It's a pretty cool light. Unfortunately it's from China, but you'd pay 10x the price for a SureFire, and those might be made in China too, I don't know. It came exactly as advertised. The batteries are a little difficult to find, but not impossible. I was impressed with the quality of the parts, they seem to be all metal, no plastic. I'm not yet sure about battery life or durability. I'll be sure to edit if anything disappointing happens. It looks awesome on my Dad's AR, but I'm planning to put it on a shotgun.EDIT: I finally got the shotgun and the batteries. The batteries were pretty cheap, I got four rechargable batteries (the light only takes one) and the charger for $12. The light is bright as can be. The pressure switch works well. I have it taped to the pump on my shotgun, and there is more than enough length in the coil to allow the action to move. The batteries last a long time.

BUY THIS LIGHT
This light is as good as a Surefire as a rifle light. It is even brighter. The accessories are trash, but this light is a hell of a tool. You can read on if you want more specifics.Obviously brand confusion is what the name "Windfire" is banking on but this light is brighter than the comparable Surefire model! This light makes me wonder why anybody would shell out the kind of money that "premium" rifle lights are going for.I do need to say that the pressure pad/switch that integrates into my VG is garbage. The one I got doesn't work at all and if it did it just feels cheap. This is no matter to me though as I'm just not a fan of dealing with a three foot electrical wire in the vicinity of my muzzle. Just mount it within a finger length of the VG and turning it on is effortless. Also, the screws for the mount are potmetal garbage. I stripped all four of them with minimal torque just trying to remove all of the wiggle. Sufice to say, the mount is right but it is now an integral part of the flashlight. Again, that doesn't matter to me as I only bought this to be a rifle light.

Even worse, I switched to the remote switch
I think this is the first review I have ever written :( - My advice, stay far away from this flashlight. I know the low price is tempting, but this is one of those times when you get what you pay for. Right out of the box, I charged the batteries overnight (sold separately) - Light turned on one time. After that, the bottom switch was intermittent, it would work maybe 1 out of 15 tries. Even worse, I switched to the remote switch, it also failed after 3 times. I ended up paying $180 for the SureFire Fury 1000 Lumen model - Yes, I know, very expensive, but worth every penny in my opinion. The SureFire works flawlessly and is bright beyond all reason. So, summary - you get what you pay for - it is hit or miss with this flashlight.

Buy this without hesitation at this price!
Pretty simple one setting bright light that fits standard one inch mounts. Very bright, easy to activate with the tailcap. I chose not to used their 2nd generation included touch pad and have the unit positioned so that I simply hit the button with my finger or thumb.Wish they would have included batteries but I have plenty of them so no big deal and it is stated in the ad.I've been field testing this flashlight in Alaska at temps down to -15 degrees F this winter. After I see how long the batteries last this winter I will probably buy four more of these but its going on three weeks with use 5-7 days a week mounted on a HKMP5-SD, a fun gun to shoot so I do shoot it lots.

So far, unusable.
I cannot give a higher rating because it's not usable until I figure out which and how many batteries it takes and how to attach the prssure switch.I don't know these things because it comes with no batteries, no adhesive for the pressure switch, nor any instructions.

Best darn flashlight ever.
The most solid and brightest flashlight I have ever purchased. (Twice) Well made, excellent accessories, and very handy. The offset mount is cleanly machined, and the included remote switch is large and easy to use. At work or in the field, this is the one to buy.

Awesome torchlight for everything, even diving 😏
I have used it on my airsoft, as an emergency light AND for shallow scuba diving at night and finding lost fishing hook and this beast still works. It's waterproof up to ( as far as I have tested it ) 10feets ( 3 meters ) no problem! I highly recommend and don't forget to get yourself a li-ion 18650 and the appropriate charger. Totally worth it!

Great flashlight for 7.62x39mm
This light withstands my rifles recoil very well, very bright for the price as well wasn't 100% that it would be as bright as it is, I am very happy with it.

Amazing light
Only reason i put 4 stars is that it did not come with a battery, but i bought some and this light is exceptional, it is very bright and the pressure switch works very well.
