Decent USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter
I purchased this little adapter to use with my P20 pro as I was not a fan of the white adapter that came with the phone and also keep forgetting the USB-C headphones at work โ silly me. This adapter does the job and does it well. Sound quality is great and I have tried everything from old Apple earphones to Sony monitor headsets and 3.5mm aux in the car and the sound is clean. The adapter works super well with relaying microphone sounds back onto my phone for when I am in conference calls, Skype meetings and more. For less than ยฃ10, it does a fine job. I have also connected it to my Dell Latitude Windows 10 laptop and again it works a treat. It takes seconds for it to install and Windows recognises it as a โHi-Res Audio-BYโ device for both output and input (for microphone use). Again all works great for use in Skype meetings, general blogging and just listening to music. One thing to note when you use this adapter to connect to an Android device (in my case, a Huawei P20 Pro) is that you are presented with a warning saying that you have connected a โnon-certified type-c digital headphonesโ. This is not due to the USB-C adapter but rather the headphones attached to it (I used a set of old apple pods). I tried it with a Samsung phone and had no such alerts so device dependant. But again, the headphones worked fine so no complaints from me.

Drags your trusty old 3.5mm jack headphones into the future! Five Thumbs Up
I bought this as i have a few sets of headphones i can no longer listen to as they are facing extinction by virtue of the fact that phone manufacturers are increasingly if not altogether doing away with the 3.5mm standard. - I have had a few sets before which have either gone missing or failed after a couple of weeks, mentioning no names.., this had decent reviews and also they are in black where the majority of competitors seem to be in white. I have a black phone. - No fancy instructions needed, you simply plug and play. I dont have any 3.5mm jacks on any equipment any longer so undertaking a like for like audio test wasnt possible, however there does not appear to be any diminished or noticeable sound or sound quality loss when using this adapter in my Huawei P30 Pro. - The crucial aspect for me was that this wouldnt work lose after a couple of weeks or worse just cease to work, happy to report after three months use this has not failed once, the connection is still as tight and secure as the day i first plugged them in. Im always changing headphones or trying new ones so it has had a fair amount of use. - There is nothing bad to report on this adapter, so far so good, it given a new lease of life to some older non bluetooth headphones that would otherwise have gone into the bin. Great price, solid build quality, nice aesthetics. Five Stars.

Decent sound, portable.
Got this as my new phone has lost something my old one had - the headphone jack. It's got decent build quality, both ends are metal with rubber reinforcements to prevent cable bending causing any damage. Type C is inherently strong in its design with this being no exception and the headphone jack input has a nice polished metal look with ridges. With a computer and a phone, it's simply plug and play and it works fine. The volume output compared to my main PC is much louder, i'd usually have my volume at 90% with my Senheiser HD599's but now I only need it on 40-50 for casual listening. As for sound, it's nice and detailed however I have noticed it slightly favours mids and highs rather than bass. The bass response is still there, but naturally without any EQ it feels slightly lower than highs. This was noted on Windows, however when I tried this on my phone the bass response sounded comparable to how my PC output usually is. As a result I think this could be down to some driver related issue or conflicting program on my PC.

Great Adaptor, compatible with iRig
Prompt delivery, nicely and simply packaged. Bought for my MacBook Pro which only has USB-C ports, and the headphones worked immediately and with superb sound quality (remember to change your sound output setting to USB first... oh, and turn the sound down before you put the headphones on in case your volume is very high!) However, I really wanted to know if I could use this with my iRig 2 Mobile Guitar Interface, to record guitar directly into GarageBand. I wasn't disappointed, so for anyone interested in doing the same I can assure you that it works perfectly! Excellent little device, could be a little better on price and can't speak for the durability yet but it feels well made so let's hope the VFM holds up. Would recommend!

Fine for 2 months but now broken
I paid a bit more for this product, while there are cheaper options available. Hoping that they'd last a bit longer than cheaper options. I am sadly disappointing they only lasted 2 months before they started giving me connection issues. I am just a casual listener, using this adapter for my phone with no AUX input. Standard phone in my pocket, walking to work. No rough play. Now the cable has to be in a very specific position for it to work. Highly annoying. Any slight tap of the cable will result in disconnection.

Good sound quality. Well worth the money
Having upgraded my phone, the loss of the headphone socket was annoying. I bought this adapter to be able to continue using my 3.5 mm headphones. My concern was that the adapter has to do a digital to analogue conversion and there could very easily be a loss of sound quality if the converter was low quality. This adapter works well and I could detect no loss of sound quality compared to direct connection into my previous phone. I am very pleased with the adapter, it was well worth the money.

Not sure if this will last
This is a great product and works, however, there are times when I attach it to my ipad and the sound still come out of the speakers and not my earphones. I think it may be faulty but if I wiggle the lead, the sound comes out of the headphones again. I would not buy this again if it dies on my.

Excellent Quality Product
This adaptor came in a small cardboard box as can be seen in the pictures. I needed a spare for when I travel and one to stay at home. The actual adaptor itself is made from a durable plastic and seems that it will last a long time. This adaptor is slightly longer than the original that came with my Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The connections to both the phone and headphone jacks are easy to put in and stay in place well. The quality of the audio seems slightly better then when I use the adaptor I got in the factory. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this adaptor if you want a product that will last.
