How well does this mouse work for smallish hands?  I am a 5' 4" woman with medium-sized hands and thin long fingers.  Thanks!

I'm 5'0", glove size women's XS and I love it, although I technically have the wired 505, I believe this is the same size. I tried about a dozen different mice and this is THE ONE for me.

I think it helps that I use my middle finger to use the scroller. I do also need a wrist pad to get my wrist high enough for it to fit, but those are things that help me save my clicker finger and wrist any way.

I'm looking on here now to buy a wireless version to toggle between work & personal computers now after using the wired one for the past year or two on my work computer.

I know there are smaller ones out there, but this was the only one I could find that allowed me to comfortably scroll with my middle finger, which was huge after having extreme pain from all the clicking I do for my job.

How well does this mouse perform for first person shooter games?

The DPI toggles between 800/1600 (per the box; I'm not sure why Amazon continually thinks it's different), and the polling rate is a little low for competitive gaming but it works fine for relaxed games like Borderlands and the like. The scrollwheel is a little stiff and the buttons are harder to click than you might like but overall it's certainly workable. I used one for lowkey gaming for a couple years until I broke it (left it in front of the heater, parts melted. nothing against the manufacturer) and it was reasonable. Afterwards I switched to a Zowie and while there was a difference, it wasn't as big as I'd expected (especially not for the price difference).
