Is Corelle ware microwavable and dishwasher safe?

Yes, it is microwavable and dishwasher safe. We have had Corelle dishes for over 40 years, and have used them for all kinds of things, successfully. About 10 years ago, I got tired of the pattern that I had and bought another design. We were able to give the set we had to a family that had lost everything in a fire. The dishes were still in very good condition.

The description of this product list color as black picture shows blue which is it? 😊

The set I received contained blue cups and the rings on the bowls are also blue. There is no black anywhere on the plates I received. I believe the confusion is due to the fact there are 2 descriptions. One reads: "Corelle Livingware Urban Black 16-piece set" the other: "Quaint and calming, Corelle Livingware's Country Cottage dinnerware offers..." These are 2 different sets entirely, the "Country Cottage" version is blue. just make sure the set you're buying is the right one if you can see multiple versions.

Picture shows luncheon plates but description says bread plates. Which is correct for this 16 piece blue set?

The smaller Plates in the set I bought are 6 3/4", about the size of a saucer. But my set didn't have cups. You can buy luncheon plates separately; they are 8 1/2" in diameter. So I'm not sure which size plates are in the set that is pictured. Best to check the detailed description
