Anyway, if it is for you, or just because it doesnt hurt, I use a 6" wire wheel on my bench grinder and clean the 90 degree block end and eyelet of the coating. "Problem" solved. You may also use plumbers cloth aka Emery cloth or say 4/600 grit sandpaper. Your choice. I use the black set on all my Floyd's. I run 10-46, 10-52 and 11's with these. If you use jumbo strings, you may consider the red set. If you're attempting to play your guitar like a bass, the green set is most appropriate, as they have the strongest tension and are made if a heavier wire. If you're attempting to play 8 string stuff on a 6 string: buy an 8 string guitar. ;) So, please ignore these 2 and 1 star reviews. If your bridge pitches forward after installing these, adjust your tension in increments at the claw, retune and repeat until you level it out again without string buzz. Always reset your intonation!
