This is the first thyroid supplement that has shown me the same results as the blended formula I received from my Herbal Practitioner in Salem, OR.I have had a thyroid condition since I underwent extensive x-rays before I had braces put on my teeth when I was 12 years old. I have hypothyroidism, for which I am prescribed Synthroid. Recently, I experienced rapid and unexplained weight gain (20 lbs. in 3 - 4 weeks). Needless to say, I was upset over this and went to the doctor for some blood work; all hormones were in order but the thyroid. My thyroid medication was increased, but only slightly. At this time, I purchased Mega Food Thyroid strength at the recommendation of my sister and nutritionist. I realize that the thyroid can be tricky to adjust, and most women I know in my age range (50 something) have thyroid issues. After the new medication and an entire bottle of this product, I am sorry to say that I see no difference whatsoever in my weight, mood, energy level, or sleep. How disappointing. To be fair and to be sure I am giving it a chance, I have ordered another bottle of this and will give it one more try; I'll update after I complete that bottle. Maybe it just takes awhile to work. I don't want to be impatient, but it's not fun to suddenly be fat and have to buy new clothes I didn't otherwise need.Update: I am nearly finished with the second bottle and see NO difference in any of the abovementioned areas. This is a lot of money to spend for an experiment.

I had given up on a normal existence. Very dramatic — I know, but having hypothyroidism is very tough. Basically a gray cloud of restless, nervous exhaustion has loomed over me since my first pregnancy which resulted in me having hypo. I was so tired after my first child it was strange but of course everyone tells you you should be tired. Multiple physicians have treated me and dosed me... I get better but never feel truly Alive... more like barely holding on. Until 3 weeks ago, one week after starting thyroid strength... I no longer felt desperate for naps, unmotivated to move, and just overall blah! I felt energized, happy, wanting to move and do things.... I had no idea this would work so well. However, I am now on the verge of perhaps needing to lower my synthroid, because I am experiencing heart palpitations and more of a nervous energy and true irritability. Its still better than before not complaining, but that is how I know it is really that strong. I’ve also been sleeping better. I always slept but don’t wake up as often and I awake feeling refreshed not desperate for more sleep. My Endo just tells me to take gummy vitamins... awful. Why not recommend these. Omg. Life changing. I now have a friend ordering them, to see if I’m just crazy or if they’re really this effective. However, I will say there is absolutely no weight loss even though I began dieting when I started these tablets, and hairloss is still ongoing. I really hope this helps other thyroid sufferers.

Love this product. I was diagnosed with under active thyroids took these pills for a month (I doubled the dosage) my next test came back normal. Strengthen my thyroids( I take one pill daily now).

Has really helped with fatigue and brain fog. Selenium is a boost for sythroid. Very happy. Will keep taking them for Hashimoto's.

I LOVED these!!! I suffer with Hashimotos Thyroiditis and Mixed connective tissue disease which causes pain and severe fatigue and this product has helped with the swelling and stiffness as well as with the fatigue!! I highly recommend these to anyone with Thyroid issues !!

Two of these every morning and some essential diet/lifestyle cleanup is way better than a troublesome med that I refused to take. I can already see the tell-tale fingernail lines are a lot lighter in new growth. MegaFood already had my vote anyway but this product is true to pattern as well.

This supplement is excellent. I definitely felt the difference. I feel stronger and more balanced, less insomnia and a lot less headaches. It’s also great for my skin and nails. It does take some time, about a month to fully get the benefit but it’s worth it. Now I won’t do without it.However, if you have under active thyroid, you’d benefit from adding some extra iodine. Lugol’s iodine is the best option, 4-15 drops a day.That’s the only minus, like every thyroid supplement, megafood contains only 150 mcg a day, which is highly insufficient. I wish it had more.
