Easy to assemble, strong, and does not diminish the whole house flow rate at all. I have this located immediately after my 5000 ga water tank - pump - pressure tank system which then feeds house 1-1/4" main. Excellent choice for a passive filter device - actually, the only one I could find. I considered a UV system, but if the power goes out, then the bacteria could flow right on through, plus, those are $1000. Thoroughly satisfied over the last month although I've only run about 200 gallons through it. Lab water tests just arrived and fortunately pre-filter (tank) and post-filter (master bath faucet) water did not contain any bacteria. Piece of mind that this filter is in line.
