This has been a great microphone for my needs. It is truly plug and play. Nothing to download or install, which is great. The main use for my microphone is to record education pieces. The sound quality is great, i actually really like the way it looks. It came with 2 different types of wind screens: the cover and the detachable screen and they both work well. Worth the money IMO.

I've owned this mic for several years now. It is very high quality, even surviving my alcoholic years whereI spilled drinks over the darn thing consistently. It's very lightweight, and very easy to set up. The mic quality from my buddy's perspective has been optimal, albeit very sensitive if you don't set it up right. Even after several years of use, I am still using it.

After looking on the market for a good but affordable USB microphone to use for traveling purposes, I came across this USB Microphone Kit from Maono. Inside the package you get 1 large diaphragm USB Condenser Mic, a USB A to USB B cable to commect to your computer/laptop thats about 6ft in length which is very generous, you also get a very sturdy and adjustable metal desktop microphone stand that can be adjusted and includes a metal shock mount, wind screen and a pop filter to reduce plosives. This mic package cost around $60 on Amazon and is a pretty good bargain considering the included items that come along with the microphone itself. The microphone has a cardiod polar pattern and the sound quality of the microphone is decent to good with room for improvement post production. The Mic is also of a solid metal build so it doesn't feel cheap and is light weight for carrying arpujd in your backpack when your on the go. I do recommend this microphone for those who are looking for a USB microphone solution that includes the necessary components for your podcasting and streaming needs

Great podcast microphone. Not for audio music recording, unless maybe you are keen enough to reduce the latency caused by the processing of USB data.

I bought this microphone to record music at home. I wanted a decent starter microphone I felt comfortable using that had a great sound. After using this all day since I unboxed it, I'm quite pleased with the quality. First off, the microphone was packaged nicely and had lots of foam to protect all the pieces. Assembly was easy even though the instructions weren't super clear. The base is nice and heavy and everything screwed in nicely. The only thing that concerned me was that the pop filter felt a little cheap so I would be extra careful with it so it doesn't break. After plugging it in to my mid 2012 Macbook Air, it worked seamlessly and sounds fantastic! **Edit: This is perfect for beginners who are recording an untreated room. There's slight distortion on the high end if you get too loud, too close. That being said, it's sensitive enough to produce a great sound if it's placed well, but not sensitive enough to pick up every little sound in your house - which is what you want if you're recording in an untreated room. Great for beginners in my opinion. Good luck!

Incluye también un cable USB para conexión directa a la computadora. En cuanto a su calidad física, el AU-A04T mantiene la línea minimalista y profesional que caracteriza a Maono. Todo el micrófono está hecho de metal, sin plásticos innecesarios, lo que le da una sensación sólida y duradera, a la vez que facilita el montaje y la manipulación. Su diseño compacto y liviano lo hace cómodo para cualquier espacio de trabajo o estudio. La instalación y facilidad de uso es extremadamente simple: el micrófono se coloca en el soporte mediante dos pinzas a presión, se enrosca al brazo principal y se le añade el anti-pop de preferencia. Personalmente, prefiero el anti-pop de estudio, ya que el que viene adherido a la cabeza del micrófono me parece menos estético. Esto es ideal para grabaciones caseras o producción de maquetas, ya que una respuesta plana permite mantener el control sobre la mezcla sin alterar frecuencias. Para streaming profesional, recomendaría otro modelo más enfocado a esa función, como el PDX 300, pero para grabación de demos y preproducción, el AU-A04T es muy efectivo. Comparándolo con otros micrófonos que he usado, este modelo USB condensador tiene características de dinámico en cuanto al rechazo de ruido, pero mantiene la calidad de un condensador. Su patrón de captación cerrado requiere direccionar la voz hacia el frontal del micrófono, justo donde se encuentra el logo de Maono, lo que ayuda a obtener un sonido más controlado y limpio. En uso real, lo he probado grabando un cover y se comporta como describí: compacto, eficiente y con buena fidelidad. I bought the MAONO A04T microphone kit for AI training work and some podcasting projects. Since this was my first venture into the world of "serious" microphones, I was excited to level up from talking into whatever microphone happened to be attached to my computer. First impression? It definitely looks the part. The microphone, boom arm, shock mount, and accessories create a setup that makes you feel like you're about to launch the #1 podcast in the country. I went from "person sitting at a desk" to "person with opinions and a microphone" in about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, getting everything set up and sounding good was more challenging than I expected. I spent quite a bit of time trying to eliminate static, background noise, and various mystery sounds that seemed determined to join every recording session. Passing audio quality checks turned into a larger project than anticipated. For beginners, there may be a steeper learning curve than the marketing suggests. The microphone itself is decent, but I'm not convinced the sound quality is quite where I need it to be for professional-level voice work. It captures audio, but I found myself wondering if I'd need to invest in a higher-end microphone to achieve the cleaner, richer sound I was hoping for. That said, I want to be fair: this is the first dedicated microphone I've ever purchased, so some of my frustrations could absolutely be due to my inexperience and expectations. More experienced users may get much better results than I did. In the end, it's not a bad product, and it certainly creates an impressive-looking setup.
