Not too heavy. I almost wish it was brighter. You want few things from a light, it must always deliver some light even when battery is low, it must not break if it falls, and it must be waterproof. It's all three. High low output is a godsend between charging,. So many tasks need light but not too much. It won't roll away like a comparable streamlight rechargeable, or a maglite. It's head isn't large so it fits in kits much better. Dual switches on tail cap and body.
