The tool performed wonderfully. I struggled for several days to loosen the crank bolt on my 2001 Toyota Tundra and within a few minutes of using this tool, the bolt was off. It worked well in reinstalling the bolt and keeping the timing marks in place. At first, I questioned whether or not to invest in this tool as I will probably only use it once. After using it, I wish I had saved myself a lot of time and frustration and bought the tool before ever starting this project. Good value, well made and a must for the mechanic who refuses to pay high dollar auto shops for these type projects.

I haven't had a chance to use this yet, but it looks very well made, and it was shipped very quickly. I have an impact gun to remove the bolt, but wanted this tool to properly set the torque on the crankshaft upon reassembly.Update: Used it today to re-torque the crankshaft and it worked very well. Just be careful how you position the mount bolts, or you may run into clearance issues with the body of the car when you remove the tool.

Had to do the timing overhaul on a 3MZFE (05 Sienna), and getting the balancer off wasn't going to happen without this.I like not having a broken starter, so the bump start method wasn't going to fly. 1400ft impact didn't work either with the engine absorbing the hits.In the end, this tool with a hilarious (looks like an OSHA violation to me bro) cheater bar did the trick. You may be like my case...where the last tech didn't put any anti seize on things. This tool will get you out.

Perfect fit for 2012 toyota tacoma 4.0 V6

The tool worked like it was supposed to. Reason for 4 instead of 5 texas stars is that the bolts néed to be shorter. They scrap on the cover behind the bslancer.

This was a necessary tool to get the crank shaft bolt off to do a timing belt job on my 2002 Toyota Sienna. It is sturdy and made quick work of getting the bolt loose.

At first I didn’t think it fit the holes in the crank pulley, but upon further inspection there are 2 sets of holes with different spacing…once I figured that out it fit great and working like a charm!!!

hard to believe the factory torqued this bolt down to 165 foot pounds. However, this is the tool to use in order to remove the bolt. Personally, I had to use a four foot breaker bar, the removal tool, and have the vehicle up on a hoist. Air impact gun wouldn’t budge the crank pulley bolt.
