Has all you need and Works relaibley
Come with rubber 2 heat-transmitting tape for both sides of the NVMe, and 2 more sparesAlso comes with good rubber bands for holding the heat sync tight against the NVMe, sounds Heath Robinson but is more than adequate and makes disassembly painless.I replaced my C: SSD and D: Magnetic with a 2TB Sabarent in a 2014 Motherboard. Huge uptic in speed. I can see the adapter being the limiting factor on the sequential read writes at 1500MB/s still 3 times my Samsung 840 EVO SSDThe same drive in my laptop which supports PCIex 4.0 does sequential at over 3000MB/s (this card and my desktop is 3.0)It's reliable, hassle and driver free and delivers all the performance my motherboard will support.Highly recommended

Everything you need to for PCIe NVMe including cooling
First of all there are no instructions and the directions on the listing images are rubbish, but I'm not going to mark down the product because with a little trial and error it's perfect for the money.I found the best way to mount which used everything that was included, was big pad between the ssd and board, thin pad between the ssd and heatsink and then the rubber bands lengthwise. if you use the rubber bands between the ssd and heatsink as the images show, I found the board flexed which I wasn't happy with. Again not sure what the listing images are showing but the brass standoff went in the groove of the ssd and the included screw would go through the board into it, holding everything perfectly secure.SSD was recognized straight away, there is hardly any stress on the PCIe slot and it's a tidy package. Works perfectly. Please excuse my dusty fan, it was cleaned after I took the picture!

Works perfect, does exactly what you need it to do
Great little adaptor. Used on an old pc that does not have any nvme slot. It's so old that the bios doesn't even support nvme haha anyhow windows will still find it just fine even on a pcie 2 slot it works too you just get slower speeds but still way faster than a sdd on sata3. So if you are putting off a full pc upgrade but want faster disk speeds this is the thing to get.

Works fine at PCI 4.0 x4 too, if you have a spare PCIe 4.0 slot
Loses a star because the heatsink attachment (rubber bands!) is cheap and likely to perish. But excellent at what it does - passes through PCIe slot signals to a x4 M.2 slot. It's just a dumb wiring adapter so doesn't require any motherboard support for e.g. PCIe bifurcation. Newer motherboards will even allow you to boot from an SSD in this adapter, should you want to.It doesn't say it in the description but I confirmed through testing that this will work at PCI 4.0 x4 speeds when paired with an appropriate SSD and motherboard slot. See picture of speeds for an WD SN850 1TB in this adapter running at PCI 4.0 x4 - almost as fast as running in the motherboard PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot. This might be useful if you want two PCIe 4.0 SSDs on an B550 motherboard, but don't care so much about GPU performance. For example, in a home NAS or perhaps plotting Chia :)

Great for NVME disk cloning
I purchased this PCIe NVME adapter in order to clone my existing NVME SSD to a new SSD as my Z270 motherboard only has a single NVME slot. One point worth noting is that on the top of the adapter there are four bright blue LEDs that blink during read/write activity - if you have a windowed case you may find this distracting - I didn't see a way of disabling these lights. The adapter comes in a small cardboard box with all of the accessories including heatsink, thermal pads and a screwdriver as shown in the listing pictures.I had no problem connecting both a PCIe x2 and a x4 NVME SSD to the adapter and disk cloning took mere minutes due to the write speed of 1400MB/s on my WD Blue SN500 SSD. I tested the heatsink and thermal pad attached to the top side of a WD Black NVME SSD which is notorious for its high temperatures. Under load it can easily reach 72C but with the heatsink attached it only reached 57C which is a 15C reduction. The heatsink was pretty hot to touch which shows that the thermal pad was effective at transferring heat away from the SSD. You can also attach a second thicker thermal pad to the underside which will transfer heat to the adapter - I didn't try this additional thermal pad. There are cheaper PCIe NVME adapters for sale here on Amazon but they don't include the heatsink and thermal pads which can be useful with some of the NVME SSDs that reach higher temperatures. Apart from the unnecessary blue LEDs this is a well made quality adapter which I can highly recommend.

Brilliant and hassle free
I bought 4 of these to place as a zfs array, they worked perfectly no need to worry about it not fitting no need to worry about the back plane just install the nvme and slot it in and done, the performance is as expected too, for such a cheap little device im super impressed and will be buying again.

Cheap and functional but don’t trust the rubber bands
The rubber bands supplied to secure the heatsink on perished to a point of failure within a few weeks. I was fortunate that I found this during a random case open to check something else and saw one of the 4 bands on the bottom of the case.Ive replaced them with small cable ties instead.

Great flexible adapter
I needed an NVME Adapter to migrate my system drive on an older, slower, smaller NVME drive to a new one. This is great value, flexible in the slots it can use and nice and quick. Definately recommend. Please note there are no instructions, not an issue for me as you are only buying something like this if you know what you are going to use it for.
