Recently I read that exposure to artificial UV light can alter the body's ability to absorb folic acid. On top of using UV light to help with pysriosis and seasonal depression, I had other markers of poor folic acid absorbtion. So I did what any good, smart adult without a medical degree does and I self diagnosed myself and prescribed myself holistic medication from the Internet.In all seriousness... I felt better within days. By better, I mean I had energy to make it through the day.. I made a smoothie in the morning. I did homework with my kids (without yelling). I fell asleep at a normal time. I meal prepped. I felt like I could do the things that needed to get done! Great aide to depression medication.I decided to try a less expensive (but still highly recommend!) brand and I can absolutely tell the difference. I'm taking naps after work again. I wake up tired no matter how much I sleep and I never feel like I'm moving in a forward direction. My depression fog is settling back in.Moral of the story is I'll be buying this brand, and only this brand, again. I urge you to at least try it if you're working out and eating right and hydrating and taking all medication as prescribed but you know you're missing the feeling that all the other people who stay awake and alive all day have.
