Finally the silence! I think a normal PC can not ask for more power than this power supply can deliver, unnecessary spending money on more power, very useful spending money in silence! With a power consumption of 250 W it remains warm.

Does its job silently. Zero problems powering my Devil's Canyon + GTX 970 combo.

Dead after 4 months. Total disappointment.

The unit is completely silent, of course, and trusting reviews elsewhere I presume the power is clean reliable. It works fine in that regard though I cannot measure it. What is less good is the modular connector kit that accompanies it, it has too few combinations of items. I have 7 Sata drives plus a CD in my system, and had to go get an old-style to SATA power connector to actually hook things up. For such an expensive power supply I would expect to have more flexibility in the modular connectors. There's also no real useful documentation, though the connections are fairly standard in that regard (except the big mainboard connector, I had to stare at that a while -- it is split across two rows on the power supply). I'm very happy with it being silent, and trust it will be reliable, but it really irritated me to have so few power connectors. I will say though that for many PC's with few devices it will be just fine.

My PC power consumption is around 370W. Average usage is 6 hours a day.I would expect it to last a year or two.Lived up to its silent operation while it worked.

After building a budget Ryzen 7 1700X Micro ATX PC for my home office to end the constant cycle of docking and undocking my laptop I finally realized just how quiet my office USED TO BE. It took me only a short time to arrive at the realization that 99% of the ruckus coming from this new Spawn of Satan box was generated by the power supply. The Thermaltake cooler and system fan are basically silent at idle to average load. The budget EVGA 400W power supply sounds like a jet taking off 3 feet from my head by comparison. Suffice it to say, within a two weeks I was approaching the brink of insanity.Found this fanless power supply here priced about 1/3 as much as the whole system and nonetheless immediately knew I must own it. Just did the surgery and alas, peace and quiet has once again been restored to my office. No regrets on dropping the 1.5 c-notes whatsoever. This will be my go-to power supply for non-power-hungry builds from now on. If any issues I'll update the review, but with a 7 year warranty, I'm not terribly concerned.Bottom line - if you're reading these reviews trying to decide if this power supply is truly worth the asking price - just hit the buy button. Your sanity will thank me later!

Excellent powersupply. Very quiet; the fan seldom runs. Pretty much just what I was looking for.

This my second Night Jar and old one is still running strong after 8 years. In this era of cheaply made things I don't mind paying more for quality.
