different than OEM but worked on a 02'BMW 325ci
2002 BMW 325ci (2 door coupe) manual transmission (FTW). Fits but with a different bulb than what is original equipment. 4 stars b/c Amazon says it's correct, (and it does fit) but my car came with the P21W type bulb, so I had to buy bulbs too.PROs.-newer design (i guess) and maybe a better plastic or abs..don't know really but it's black and fits-fits into the p21w (clear) lens and also the plug that goes into the back-works like the other side-uses 1154 bulbs (simple, single pole at the bottom and two side pins allowing them to install in either direction 180 degrees).- 1154 bulbs are found everywhere and very inexpensive (i needed amber colored, and Wagners are the best colored glass, won't flake off)- 1154 side posts are identical on each sideCONs-isn't the same as what came with my car-now one side is black, and the other side is white-i should buy another one, or return this and buy the correct version...back to a PRO: .because the correct version uses the p21w bulbs, which can only be inserted one direction, and are more expensive, and also not even available in my local shop (when i went to get them, they only had 1 place for them, and they were out of stock..while the 1154 had several rows in both white and amber, from different manufacturers.../final verdict = happy on face, due to it fitting the lens and plug, and using a more 'basic' bulb that has been around since (guessing) wwII and found everywhere (even grocery stores).advice : slap some vasoline (or bulb-grease) on the bulb to keep it from corroding, and sealing out moisture. also helps remove them years later..they never get stuck... i do this to all my light bulbs and many electrical connections..

2000 BMW 323i front park light sockets
These are OE replacement sockets. An improved design over the original which are prone to arc and or corrode and cause intermittent connections, or in extreme conditions will cause fuses to blow from the lead melting from the end of the bulb and shorting. This is what my customer's car was experiencing. These are well made and easy to install.

Good quality part
The part fit perfectly! Unfortunately, I'm not able to say whether or not it works, I have an older BMW 330i and its likely another wiring issue that's not letting my blinker work. I'm sure the product works perfectly, I just can't say for sure. If your car is in top shape then you'll have no problem installing the part and getting it to work. Very speedy delivery.

This replaces the original on my 2000 E46 Coupe. ...
This replaces the original on my 2000 E46 Coupe. The original caused the base of the bulb to melt and lose contact requiring frequent bulb replacement, more than 20 times. The contact on this is a different material and should not cause the melting problem

WARNING: Does not work with Yellow Bulbs. My original socket is white and while this does fit it will not fit the yellow bulb. So Black socket has a different grooves. I have a 2002 330ci with an M Package and the turn blinkers are yellow and clear glass housing. Other BMW E46's have Clear bulbs with Yellow housing. It was a snap replacing however i will see if i can find a compatible yellow bulb otherwise will need to return unfortunately

Great product. Easy fix.
The turn signal on my 2000 3-series was working intermittently—sometimes the blinker would work normally, but sometimes it wouldn't. Eventually, the dash indicator stayed on permanently, and the blinker sounded at double speed. I replaced the bulb, but nothing changed.I noticed that the connector in the bulb socket was corroded, so I ordered a replacement here on Amazon. The product from OES Genuine was an exact fit. Swapping it out was an easy fix. (Just look up how to remove the turn signal housing online if you don't know how.) I also applied some corrosion-preventing gel that I picked up at an auto parts store. Now my blinker works like it should. Great product. Easy fix.
