Q: In product discription it says 16gb wifi. Is that different than the 64gb? Is this a 2017 model?

This model was produced in 16gb, 32gb, 64gb and 128 gb versions which refers to the amount of onboard memory each has, not the speed of the WiFi connection. It was introduced in 2014 and discontinued in March of 2017. I find it much faster than my old 3rd Gen iPad but not as fast as newer editions which cost much more but are only available in 32 gb and 128gb versions.
