Works as expected and the blue indigo colored lighting makes it looks really nice. I have this plugged into a HP 9480 docking station almost since I got this two months ago. The docking station doesn't cut power when the laptop is turned off (horrible HP docking stations I might add, but I digress), and these blue lights have almost been on the entire time and all 4 are still lit up. The USB cable it comes with is only about a foot in length which might be an issue for some, but it works fine with how I use it. If you need a longer cable look for a standard tipped USB A on one end and a Micro-USB B on the other.With that said, to sum it up this is a great product with cool lighting, but a short cable though it's been rock solid since day one.

This is a nice hub. The USB that goes into the back to connect to your computer fits fine. I have no problems with it being loose as another person did. Not much else to say about it. It works. Yes the design is pretty, but I only care about functionality, so not an issue for me. As for the blue lighted hubs being too bright as another said I can only say ????? Not really. You could always put a sticky note paper over the unused plugins. I did this because of the angle of the hubs, they will collect dust since they are facing upward. Dust is an issue so I covered those I am not using.

The only downside I found with this is that the cord that goes with the unit is only 18" long, which is stated in the description. For my application, I needed a longer cord to go from my computer under my desk to the top of my desk. I contacted Azure electronics about using a usb extension cord, and they were very quick to reply that I could use a usb male to male extension (great customer service). As far as using this with a laptop, the 18" cord was sufficient.

seven months later and this thing is going strong. The light is cool but it is quite bright in a dark bedroom; I had to move it so I couldn't see it from my bed to sleep, but at the same time if you are like me and like to work in a dark room occasionally the light can actually help in finding the ports, in addition to looking flashy.

This hub creates some sort of interference with Bluetooth. I purchased it to plug multiple BT receivers into for various wireless devices (mouse, keyboard), and when they are plugged into the hub, they experience all sorts of hesitation. When I take them out of the hub and plug them directly into my macbook, they work perfectly. This may just be a bad hub, but I doubt that as it works fine for plugging in other peripherals and memory sticks. It looks nice but doesn't do what I bought it for, hence the 2 stars.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Stylish, functional and easy to use. I needed something that could be packed away nightly and unpacked every morning. This fit the bill. It is fast and looks good while doing it.

Love it! Dont know how I lived before it with all those loose cables. I just bought another for my son in college. Oh and it had a very pretty blue light that could be a very dim night light. Super cool feature

This thing is terrible. 1st, it comes with a very short cable, had to purchase an extension. It stays illuminated all the time, which I think is annoying.. some might like it. The worst part is the placement of the cable. It comes out the back/top of the unit so it doesn't want to sit flat on your desktop and makes it look terrible sitting on your desk. I was looking for something inconspicuous. The function is iffy.. I don't want to comment on that because it might be issues with my computer rather than this unit. I strongly urge you to look elsewhere for a nice usb hub.
