Purchased this for an older work colleague to help understand the youth of today. It was very much appreciated and lots of laughs were had going through the various phrases. However beware some of them are from american english so it's not all completely relevant. A bit of fun nonetheless and a good pick up to help the older generation get down with the cool young kids of today!

What a pity this isn't the newest version.

Consiglio a chiunque voglia innalzare il proprio livello di inglese di acquistare questo vocabolario. Il libro presenta infatti la classica struttura di un vocabolario, ponendo in ordine alfabetico non dei semplici vocaboli ma tutti quei termini e costruzioni sintattiche più tipiche dell’inglese parlato dai madre lingua. Conoscere il significato di questi termini è sicuramente un plus se ci si vuole distinguere in una conversazione in inglese. E’ stato scritto nel lontano 2012 ma vi assicuro che è assolutamente fresco nei contenuti. Il tutto è accompagnato da chiarissimi esempi. Bien pour une approche différente de la langue.

this is a physical version of the 'urbandictionary' website .I purchased this for my girlfriend whom doesn't have very much experience with certain terms or slang .She can now join the conversation instead of being one of the confused onlookers lol .I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to freshen up with their slang or just for purely entertainment purposes . the only drawback to this book is the number of pages , however it wouldn't be exactly portable if it included everything on the website .
