Wilton Cupcake Decorating Set, Piping Bags Tips, 12-Piece

I started off by buying a froster from the dollar tree & that was a big mistake...that thing made frosting so difficult & tedious. After a frosting a couple cupcakes I decided it has to be easier than this, so I went online to see what other affordable options there were to consider (as I’m not a frequent baker I didn’t want to sink a lot of money in). Enter Wilton cake tips w/disposable bags. Frosting cupcakes was a cinch! The cleanup was also super easy...I rinsed the bag between frosting choices so I didn’t blow through all of my bags, & then tossed it out at the very end. I tossed the tips in a dishwasher bottle parts basket I keep on the top rack, & they were perfect when they came out. I wish I would’ve taken a picture of the dollar store frosted frosting job & the Wilton tips job, but you’ll have to trust me that the end result was noticeably better with the Wilton! The picture shows the very first time I’ve frosted cupcakes with the Wilton tips (and only one other time previous with the terrible dollar store ones), & I had around 40 to do on a very short time period before my son’s birthday, so I wasn’t doing these leisurely, & I think they still look pretty good as a complete novice. If you’re on the fence & want to make your cake/cupcakes look as good as they possibly can, just go for these...you won’t regret it!

Once upon a time, my grandmother died. When she died, we inherited her collection of decorating tips and there were a LOT. There were wiltons and grahams, unmarked tips that were made in Korea. They were all very fancy and beautiful and an absolute pain in the tuckus to use because grandma? Made buttercream flowers. Exclusively. All of her lovely tips were for creating stamens and petals and leaves, roses and peonies and carnations and ivy. And I? I just needed to cover the top of some gat dang cupcakes. Enter this set. They're so beautifully basic. Use these, find a good youtube tutorial, and you're golden. They come with a set of piping bags, they come with instructions, they make the mere concept of piping frosting and icing just that much less scary. They do NOT come with a storage box, so have a good container handy- even a ziploc bag will do. Also be aware that when you wash them you need to do a good job scrubbing out all the corners- a straw cleaner can help immensely with that. Go forth and decorate and know no fear.

When I tell you these are amazing I am not going to lie! They are super easy to use and decorate with. The only thing that I could have disliked, was the fact that cleaning the tips was a challenge indeed. It was tough, but I came through and cleaned them. By the way I had bought these for my 13 year old, and se loved them!

I’m sure these are great… I bought them to use with the Wilton reusable easy twist decoupler without realizing that these are LARGE size Wilton tips. But of course I can’t fault the product for my own error. So future purchasers beware: these are LARGE tips, not standard size!

Bags are also good and able to be washed well for reuse.

I've never used an icing tip before, and was able to do a pretty successful job frosting cupcakes with homemade buttercream on my first try, even though my buttercream was a little thin. The only issues I had were getting the icing into the frosting bag without making a mess, which seems like an innate problem with frosting bags; and getting the tip back out of the frosting bag to clean it once everything was all covered in frosting - I think I could have cut the hole bigger. So it's *not* going to be easy to swap out flavors/colors of frosting if you MUST have the same tip shape for more than one (if you don't mind a slightly different look, there are multiple tips in this set). But it makes putting that nice thick, spiral layer of frosting like on storebought cupcakes really easy, and it's a zillion times nicer looking than glopping it on with a spoon. I'll definitely be using this again next time I make cupcakes.

This is a great set! It’s perfect for frosting cupcakes. There are 4 different options included as well as a few bags to get you started. I was concerned using these tips to frost a large batch of cupcakes might be time-consuming, hurt my hands, or be difficult to use, but I am happy to say that wasn’t the case. I found this to be very simple to use (there are written directions included or you can find a video tutorial on the Wilton website). In fact, I thought it was faster and easier than frosting by hand, and so much prettier!!! Very pleased!

spot on set !! I am a complete beginner making cakes and was recommended a Wilton nozzle for my cupcakes i was making for a fund raising event . I saw this set on amazon and wow what a fantastic set . It was cheaper than buying 2 nozzles and came with a load of bags as well . I cannot stress enough i am a complete beginner i have never made cupcakes in my life and i am pretty proud of my results (pics below) with the right tools anyone can do it

Ce lot est génial pour la décoration de toutes vos préparations patissières: je l'ai utilisé avec de la chantilly et de la crème au beurre et le résultat est top. Les douilles sont grandes et tout inox: elles respirent la qualité: elles ne se déforment pas à la pression des doigts (j'ai testé!) et ni lorsqu'elles tombent à par terre à plusieurs reprises (j'ai testé aussi!). Un seul petit bémol cependant: je trouve les poches à douilles jetables fournies un peu petites: il faut régulièrement les remplir mais bon ce n'est qu'un détail...car vu le prix, pour quatre douilles à une dizaine d'euros, je les considèrent comme cadeau! En plus, sachez que le packaging est très joli, donc vous pouvez l'offrir facilement. Aussi, le petit fascicule accompagnant ce lot vous donne un aperçu des motifs possibles avec ces douilles. Je vous recommande donc l'achat de ce lot de qualité à très bon prix!

Ho un canale yotube di cucina e in una diretta l'ho regalato tra quelli che erano con me in diretta, io già ho il mio set e l'ho voluto regalare prorprio perché è stupendo. Il set ha i beccucci che servono per decorare i cupcake o per fare le rose con la crema di burro, Vengono perfetti. Lo consiglio perché è perfetto per chi vuole iniziare avendo già in dotazione delle sac a poche cosi si è subito pronti a decorare ;)
