Good home office conference option
Spending a lot more time at home on meetings now, I got tired of wearing headphones constantly. This is a convenient device, needing only a USB-A or USB-C connection depending on the model - not additional power plug needed. With the driver software from Plantronics, control and automations are available on a Mac desktop (and I assume Windows). The device itself has a mute button, and an LED light ring to brightly show when you are muted.I have seen some comments about the difficulty of volume control. This thing leans towards loud, and appears to adjust volume automatically against the volume setting on the computer. As a device geared towards voice conversations this makes it not very useful as a music speaker, but instead makes most voice calls very clear. Volume control is best done with the volume button on the unit itself, not in software. I don't consider this a fault as this is not a music device, but a conversation tool.

Great product Highly recommend
Great productHighly recommend iteliminates background noise, sound quality is greatonly wish is that the volume control was little more fine and if we can control sound settings (base, mid and treble) this would be a perfect toolbesides this, loved it so much that I bought a second unit

Good Product but Needs Better Settings Control
Bought this to take a break from headphones while on calls all day. The product works well. Sound quality is good - voices are clear and the microphone works great. My two complaints would be that the minimum volume is very loud. Second complaint would be the mute on/off cues - these can't be turned off and coming off mute causes a delay to entering a conversation. Overall decent product.

If you work from home this is a must.
If you do conference calls or video conferencing from home or work you need this. Even though the sound is not very loud the quality is like a Bose speaker never too harsh, excellent for training videos as well.

Poly - Calisto 3200
Purchased for my home office. Pros: compact but very well built, sturdy, feels expensive. No power cord needed - USB connect to workstation serves as power too. Very good sound quality. Cons: Volume quirkiness using w/ Teams. Sometimes using device’s mute button doesn’t enact the Teams mute icon on your screen. The device shows muted and confirmed mtg participants can’t hear me, but the Teams app shows not muted. Not cool when you must wonder if you’re actually muted. Also, sometimes lowest speaker volume setting is way too loud. Have to reset power to clear.

Excellent, simply excellent
Works exactly as it should. You plug it into your USB port and it works. Phone calls - both mike and speaker - works great. Just listening to any computer audio - works great. Unplug, replug - works great. No drivers to install. No messages on the screen. No complications whatever.

Annoying feature stops me from ever wanting to use it - bad design!!! Would not recommend..
This would be 4-5 stars except for the stupid feature you can't turn off! I wouldn't buy it again. This unit looks good and the sound is ok although a bit tinny ( and people on the other end say that I don't sound the same either through the microphone). The downside is the mute feature... when you hit mute or unmute, the unit announces a slow "....mute on", or "...mute off" in a computerized voice ... it does so after a brief pause. The net effect is it takes about a full second to unmute. Typically when I am on conference calls, I stay muted, and have my finger on the unmute, pushing it to participate.... however with this stupid feature, when people ask me questions on the call, by the time I have waited for the slow "....mute off" announcement, the conversation is so broken up and feels stilted and slow to the point I can feel people getting irritated on the other end, because every response adds a delay, like speaking to someone on a line with a satellite lag....This means that I end up not muting, and then I have to ensure I dont type or breath, or move around so I don't create background noise... instead of becoming a useful toy, this unit becomes something you consciously have to think about.. "do I leave the mute on at this stage of the conversation?" " Is it safe to mute or will I be asked a question..?" "Are they calling on me - better leave it unmuted... etc." This is so annoying, that already, I find myself picking up my headset instead. I bought this because I was sick of wearing the headset on all the video calls, in the time of covid, but this defeats the purpose... The stupid thing is that the software lets you set a number of features such as whether it beeps when you change the volume settings, but it won't let you turn the announcements off, or make them a short beep instead. After 2-3 days I called the support number, it was so distracting and irritating that I wasted 20 mins with them, to see if there is any way to turn off the stupid annoying feature and they confirmed after putting me on hold that the answer was "no".... When a tool is so flawed by such a thoughtless feature, I always wonder what product testing was ever done. As soon as I used this for the first time, this feature jumped out, and became the source of irritation, it's such an obvious drawback, and having used it now for about 15 hours of meetings it is just a pain in the neck and I regret buying this thing which will not get used as much as it should - I won't use it for the meetings I am leading ( which is 90% of the meetings I am on) but only for those meeting where I more in the audience, listening a lot more than talking, in other words where I am being interactive on the call... As such I can't recommend this thing...

Love this!
I currently have two of these little speakers: one for office and one for home. My company bought the first one for everyone in the office to do Teams meetings, conference calls, online training, etc. and it has proved to be invaluable. It really is simply plug-and-play. No separate app or software, no complicated set up. I love it so much I bought the second one out-of-pocket for personal use. My husband is always watching videos on his laptop and we all know how crappy computer audio can be. This little speaker is a game changer!
