Camabel 30 Inches Folding Storage Ottoman Bench, Ottoman Foot Rest, End of Bed Bench, Storage Chest, Load 660 lb, for Living Room, Bedroom, Entryway Grey

First of all- plenty sturdy. The big 120# fella in the photo has previously had knee surgery so I was looking for a very stable yet aesthetically pleasing step for him to get on the bed. Check and check. Idk about 600 lb but the less than graceful leap of this goodest boy is accommodated easily. The storage capacity is exactly what I expected. Assembly took about 30 seconds (took longer to carefully open the box). Quality is great for the price and looks nice. It’s about half of the width of my king size bed/frame. Now to the smell everyone talks about- I decided to take the plunge and ignore the reviews. Here’s the facts: I’m a veterinarian and all this speak of fish and/or dead animals has me convinced none of those reviewers have ever experienced any of those things before. Nor have they likely owned animals. if they did this would be underwhelming at best. Haha. Ever experience a bulldog fart? This is child’s play compared to that. If you’ve ever purchased the cloth storage boxes that go onto book shelves from like target or whatever etc it smells just like those do new. Not overwhelming. Not repulsive unless maybe you were pregnant with smell aversion or like really really hungover. Wipe the inside w a drier sheet or spray febreeze and all is well in the world. Well worth the money. Don’t be afraid.

Bought this 3 years ago because I wanted both storage and a step stool to my slightly raised bed in my college dorm. Over the years I’ve stepped on it with the lid slightly misaligned, jumped on it, and had multiple people sit on it, and the thing still stands. Though the corners around the lid are a bit messed up, it absolutely still works, looks great, and the top of the lid and sides are still very strong. It looks cute, has tons of space, and can be used as a stepstool and seat for 3 years and still be functional even when put through the wringer.

Storage capacity: you can use it with or without the dividers that it comes with. Either way, there is a LOT of room inside for yours or your kids clothes (or both lol), photo books, electronics, blankets, literally anything you’d want to store in here, that was within reasonable size of course, you could. Sturdiness: it’s actually really strange how sturdy it is. I’m 150lbs and I can sit and/or stand on it without any issue. I personally don’t think it should be used as a continuous stepping stool but I think it’d actually hold up pretty well if that’s what you chose to use it for, lol. Assembly: literally comes flattened. All you do is pop it up, throw in the bottom piece, and then toss in the dividers. I imagine even the smallest of children could figure the assembly out without any issue haha :) Lastly, it is a faux leather material. With that being said, I am not entirely sure how long the material will hold up. I hope a long time, cause it’s super cute. Oh! Anyway, it’s inexpensive and very aesthetically pleasing with such great function.... get ittttt!

If you are looking for a nice looking storage bench, you will probably like this one. It was very easy to assemble. It took me 5 minutes. I bought the bench for my theater room. I needed storage for extra blankets, and an extra seat or two when we have more guests than chairs. The product information says it can hold up to 700 lbs. I had 2 of my sons sit on it and it really didn’t seem strong enough to hold them. Their weight in total is less than 400 lbs. The inside has 2 dividers making it difficult to store blankets that are very big. The seat cushion is nice, but my room is painted black so it isn’t seen very well. While my review may sound a little negative, I actually really like the bench for my needs. I’m just trying to explain it well enough that you, a possible buyer, will be informed well enough you will make the decision that best suits your needs. Over all, I really like this bench and would recommend it for light usage.

It’s sturdy, size that I needed and great price

This is a wonderful piece of furniture that I really appreciate. Its versatility is impressive, and it offers additional storage space, making it excellent for keeping pillows or folded towels, all while serving as extra seating. Thank you Amazon.

Easy to install love this piece

Would love this if all corners of lids were not damaged. We tried to rate the delivery but there was no way to do that. I believe Fex Ex delivered. They left in driveway when they had strict instructions to leave on front porch. I am disable and can't carry up.12 steps. They also left it in then rain. I tempted to return. It's a shame because it looks like a quality piece if not for the corners.

Could have been sturdier

Good
