Burt's Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream, 3.2 Oz (Package May Vary)

This cream is amazing. Helps to heal and prevent cracks in the dry skin of my fingertips. As a guitarist it is critically important to me to prevent these splits that happen around the edges of my fingernails. It can make my fingertips very sensitive and even painful to play guitar. The Burt's Bee's Shea Butter Hand Repair Cream works wonders. I highly recommend this product to anyone with dry skin.

Heavy duty hand cream that works really well. I use other hand creams during the day and reserve this for bedtime as it does take a little bit to absorb, but it leaves my hands feeling very deeply moisturized. The smell is odd at first but it grows on you!

I’ve been a Burt’s Bee’s fan since before it was cool, I’m talking 20+ years ago. I’ve also been an RN for almost 39 years. We wash our hands A LOT, hospital paper towels are like fine sand paper and to be honest? Super cheap. I think I am an expert on advising what hand cream works, believe me I’ve tried them all. I’ve had countless colleagues tout this hand cream or that hand cream. THIS IS THE ONLY ONE THAT WORKS! So the scent? to me it smells medicinal for lack of a better term. I honestly wouldn’t care what it smells like as I don’t get the cracks in the corners of my finger nails that are so painful and not to mention invite an infection. My hands are smooth and not red with tiny micro cuts in them. This cream has been my one and only go to for years.

Moisturizing hand lotion. Helps my dry knuckles in the winter. Not a huge fan of the smell, it is very green and nature-y. Kind of like a tomato vine mixed with lavender. I was hoping that the tube would be aluminum but it is plastic. The product is super thick so it is hard to squeeze out the proper amount of product. I get a full hand workout every time I use this. The packaging is cute though and is an aesthetic addition to my handbag. Overall, I would probably not buy this again because there is better out there, but it is still good at what it does.

I'll start off by saying the smell of this hand cream might not be for everyone, but I've grown to be fond of it over time. My boyfriend describes the smell as "ditch weeds" but would enjoy me putting it on his very dry hands so he, too, has become fond of it but doesn't like to admit it. I first tried this hand cream as a small sample size in the Burt's Bees "Hand Repair Kit" which I would recommend trying if you may be unsure if you'd like the smell of it. The hand cream is very thick and rather oily. A little goes a long way and will soak in to your hands pretty quick if you only put on a thin layer. Put it on too thick and your hands will be oily and slippery for a couple hours, so don't do that. It does leave your hands feeling very soft after a few uses. I have eczema and sensitive skin, and this hand cream has kept my hands feeling moisturized without causing any irritation. If you can get past the interesting smell, your hands will thank you for it.

It moisturizers exceptionally well but it smells like medicine.. that is the only reason I gave it a 3.

This is a terrible product. It used to be a nice hand cream. Someone obviously decided to change the formula and ruined it. It smells bad like it's old and is really thick and hard to squeeze out of the tube. And it leaves your hands very greasy. I have to wipe most it off before I touch anything. It doesn't work very well either. I put it on before I went to bed so I wasn't touching anything and my hands were still very dry in the morning like it wasn't even soaking in. Wish I would have opened it sooner so I could return the second tube. Unfortunately, it will probably just be going in the garbage.
