The media could not be loaded. Makes operation a little noisy. But better than stripping plastic gears.Lots of holes for various hub sizes and patterns.A small bit of oil makes it a LOT quieter.

For about the same price as a stock spur, you can get one of these. Not as hard as steel spur gears, but substantially better than plastic. They're fairly quiet also. they worked well in an old RC-10 6 gear transmission. Have another one for a my T3 on order. Didn't throw it on a scale, but doesn't seem any heavier than plastic spur gears.

This spur gear works, but not that well. You can't use plastic gears with it or hardened steel gears with it. You need aluminum gears which are harder to find.

Completely shredded the spur and pinion gear with in 20 minutes of installing it

Must be for low power rc vehicles, looks great but first time used on a somewhat custom built rc drag car and the teeth almost all shredded off. Using 3s lipo with 3600 something kv brushless set up. May hold up better under less torque.

Bought this product thinking it was going to be good and got a used broken piece of garbage that was completely unusable. DO NOT BUY

the fit and finish are great. After about an hour of use it started getting louder and louder. I replaced it with a plastic gear and the noise went away.

The media could not be loaded. This gear failed after one run maybe 30 minutes on a clean track so no dirt or sand got in there. I've been a hobbyist for 25 years + so I know how to set a gear mesh. This aluminum gear is just softer than plastic.
