These are very nice gloves. They are worth the little extra money. I feel confident when using them for messy things. I feel safe using these gloves. Thank you for an excellent, dependable product. Good looking too.

A family member spent several months in several hospitals, and I used a number of different brands of disposable gloves. One of the hospitals used these purple Kimberly Clark gloves. They are the best of any gloves that I used at hospitals then, or at home since.These are a bit larger and fit more comfortably than other gloves sold as the same size, so they're easier to pull on and off and fit snugly, rather than tightly. I've sometimes ripped other gloves when I tugged them over my palm, but that's never happened with these. I don't know if they're thicker than others, but they feel more substantial without any noticeble loss of dexterity. Also the Kimberly Clark gloves are lightly textured and provide good grip.I didn't buy these for a while, because the price was higher, but I started ordering again when the price became more competitive. I think they deserve a premium, but there's just a limit to how much I'm willing to spend on a recurring cost item like this. If it fits your budget, these might be the best gloves you can get.

These Kimberly-Clark (55083) purple nitrile gloves are the best of four different brands I've tried so far.I use them for food preparation, household cleaning tasks, when emptying my RV's holding tank, and for light- to medium-duty outside chores. These gloves perform extremely well for all those tasks.The fit is comfortable and true-to-size.Durability is excellent. I've used about 15 pairs of this brand so far, and have not had a single rip or tear. (Other brands I've tried have experienced a failure rate of 15% to 35% during similar tasks.)These gloves are strong, yet allow good tactile feel.I certainly will buy this brand again.

I have tried a few different brands of Nitrile glovesfor mechanic work washing parts in solvent, and so far, these are my favorite.Some of the positives: They are NOT powdercoated! I really didn't like the baby powder on my hands. Also, they are softer on the inside and a little loose in large compared to other brands making them easy to take off and reuse. I used one pair about 45 min a day for a week by wiping my hands off after I was done in the solvent and gently pulling the gloves off one finger at a time. They work great too when I get a cut on one hand and need to protect it while I work. I can even wash my hands with one glove one and take the glove off after, keeping my bandage dry.The downsides: Not as long as pictured. These gloves are still just 9 in or so long, reaching just to the wrist. The extra long gloves come in packs of 50, state that they are the long ones, and usually are priced higher per box. Also, they are purple. Not my favorite color as a mechanic. But, they keep my hands clean and dry through oil, dirt, and solvent, so purple is an ok color.

The uses for these gloves are endless, from dealing with painting solvents to cleaning around the house. They are thicker than what you'll find at a drugstore or big box home improvement store. And, I think the price is competitive. Since they are nitrile, they hold up to a wide range of solvents. My favorite part of these gloves, however, is that I have no problem getting them on, even if my hands are sweaty. They're not going to tear, either, when being put on like cheaper versions. The only downside, if I can call it that, is that if you mistakenly leave them outside in the sun, they will degrade rapidly. If they're wet, this process will speed up considerably. I don't see this as an issue, though, with normal outdoor use.

I'm allergic to both latex and the powder often put in gloves to make them go on easily.I use these purple nitrile gloves for all sorts of things - to apply meds to my pets, to protect my hands from irritants, just to stay clean. I specifically get my gloves online since Walmart's only carries the medium size which fits well EXCEPT they are very hard to get on when your hands are wet. I much prefer the large for that reason. However, if you want to be able to pick up a dime, get a size that fits snugly.One caution. If you decide to use these gloves to apply Bengay, they will work sort of. They will split. Apparently the Bengay is unique in its reaction with the nitrile. I have never had any other substance cause the gloves to weaken. I do use them to apply Bengay, but quickly and carefully.These are an excellent product and I have had excellent service from the company providing them.UPDATE: THE GLOVES I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED DO NOT WEAKEN WITH THE USE OF BENGAY. THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A BAD BATCH OF GLOVES. I HAVE USED THEM WITH BENGAY WITH NO SPLITTING AT ALL.
