The water boils in 1 minute! When it is done, it turns off the heat and make a buzzing sound to alert you.Be careful, steam comes out of the blow-hole in the lid.I just got this egg cooker and it does everything exactly as advertised. I did a hard-boil of 6 large eggs in the shell. They were cooked perfectly and quickly. I made deviled eggs and they were perfect! Be sure to use the pin to make a small hole in the end of the shell. This allows expansion of the egg inside, so the shells don't crack open.I then did a medium and hard cooked egg (one at a time) in the mold and they came out as expected. Be sure to butter the egg mold (or use spray oil) and the egg will come right out. There are no separate instructions for this in the package, but the video on Amazon shows how. I just used the same amount of water as with hard boiled and it works great.

The media could not be loaded.  I like making eggs, but I struggle with consistency on hardness when cooking in a pot of boiling water. And I hate "standing by" to wait for the cooking or make sure water doesn't dry out.This little machine makes it easy for BUSY mornings, you can have your soft boiled or poached eggs WITHOUT STRESS! The machine turns off automatically and has a buzzer reminder as well, no burns!I mean, I could have poached eggs everyday because I love them, but its so stressful to do, only until now!!!I can't wait to kick up my breakfast into classy and convenient.

I lost my old reliable egg cooker in a house fire. This is a good replacement. Eggs come out perfect. Beep to let you know eggs are done isn't overly annoying. I used to poke a pin in the egg shell before placing them in the egg cooker. This egg cooker has its own pin which I found by poking my finger with it. It hurt. Don't know how I would feel about having it anywhere near a child. I am definitely more careful as the pin blends in so I didn't see it. Certainly aware of it now. Otherwise, extremely happy with my purchase.

Saw this while looking for a budget egg cooker and decided to give it a try. I like that the water cup has different markings for soft, medium and hard eggs. It also have markings for the number of eggs you wish to cook (from 1 to 6 eggs). I tried one egg at first and the hard boiled egg did come out just slightly undercooked. The 2nd time I cooked using 2 eggs, I turned the cooker off after it beeped and left the eggs in the cooker for an additional minute. They turned out perfect!

This egg cooker is amazing. If you love hard boiled eggs but hate trying to get it just right so they will peel, this is for you! The eggs come out perfect and peel perfect. It doesn't take long, and the alarm signaling it's finished is just loud enough to hear from another room without being annoying. It has been the best thing for me as I eat eggs every single day. You won't regret this purchase!

I’m unfortunately the first person to give less than five stars for this egg cooker. It began with the pin cracking an egg, making it unsuitable for cooking. Then, when the buzzer sounded, I thought it didn’t seem long enough, and sure enough, when I removed the top/lid, there was still a good amount of water, along with a good portion of the INSIDE from one of the eggs☹️Oh well.... back to the pot and stove method! I never had a problem with that method to begin with. Why didn’t I just leave well enough alone!?!

This egg cooker is pretty effective when I want to make some quick breakfast during weekdays. it contains a measuring cup to calibrate the water level to customize the eggs I want. Thanks to the automatic power-off function, I don't need to stay there all the time, which is perfect for me to save some time to prepare my office day. I will recommend it to my friends and colleagues.

This is an awesome product. I was skeptical that it would actually make hard-boiled eggs that fast. It is literally faster than the microwave and especially a stove top for making boiled eggs. Trust me you won't be disappointed. I'm thinking about buying another one just in case this one breaks down years from now. Then I will still have another one. :-)
