I love malted milk powder and this is the most economical way to buy it. Beware, though, that although not mentioned in the description, the product label says "hot malty goodness" and, indeed, it takes more effort to dissolve it well in cold milk. I stir it, crush the floating powder lumps against the side of the glass with my spoon, then stir it again to get it completely dissolved. The more expensive Carnation product dissolves a little more easily in cold milk, possibly because it contains much more sugar (57% vs 39% by weight). The Horlick product and brand has been around for 150 years but is now owned by conglomerate Unilever so probably bears little relation to the original formulation.

The expire date is only few days

I use this to make my chocolate protein drink taste like a malt from the finest ice cream shoppe. I take one bottle of OWYN protein drink (35 grams of protein!), mix it with 4 oz. of Ripple vanilla-flavored beverage, add about 1/2 teaspoon of Manuka honey, and add about two tablespoons of Horlick's malt powder, mix it up in my blender, and wow! I've got a great-tasting chocolate malt that's much healthier than anything you'll find at restaurants or ice cream shoppes!

First sip, I wasn’t sure. But, after a few sips, I was hooked. Good stuff.

Has been made in the UK for years. Tastes the same as when I was a child eating this with a spoon and not putting it into a drink. Lol

I dislike the product as it has nov 2023 expiry which is just 3 months from now.
