What are the clear looking flecks in this product? I've noticed them in several bottles. In one bottle, they were quite large. They float on top.

"Do not use if seal is broken or missing", is it refering to the seal, plastic inside the cap or a round foil, plastic attached?. Mine didnt have any.

The bottle is covered by a clear plastic that begins at the bottom edge of the bottle & ends at the top edge of the white cap. The words "For Your Protection" are repeated on the plastic cover. You have to cut the plastic to open the bottle.

Is it okay to mix it with orange juice or other fruit juices that will mask the taste?

Yes. Tastes good by itself! I mix it with C-Salts (6700% of daily vitamin C) to increase its adsorption!Raised my iron levels to normal!
