Vapor Apparel Men's Long Sleeve Solar Performance T-Shirt

This is my third Vapor Apparel shirt. The first two were the Altered Latitudes versions with designs on them, and were very light weight shirts perfect for hot weather. This is supposedly the exact same shirt but without a design, but the fabric is quite a bit thicker than the first two, and will obviously not be as cool in hot weather. All the shirts were described as 4.1 oz. microfiber, so I am puzzled as to the difference.Since I posted this review I received an email from Vapor Apparel stating that the shirt should indeed have been exactly the same as the AL shirts I had ordered, and offering to send a replacement. I had not contacted them with my concern - They monitor the Amazon reviews. Considering this amazing customer service, you absolutely can't go wrong with these shirts.

Great Shirt but there's a difference between the sizing on long sleeve and short sleeve. I ordered a short sleeve size med which fit as expected for 175lb 5' 11". But when the long sleeve arrived the sleeves were way long and the body was very baggy. The shirt is however very good quality and I've ordered a size Small. Size small arrived today and fits very well. All in all very pleased with product, but not with the seller who charged me $5.08 for return shipping. I've submitted a complaint with Amazon but no reply yet!

A GREAT PRODUCT..simple as that. When purchasing, I wanted a long sleeve workout/running shirt w/ sun protection & warmth without being too stuffy. After reading some reviews I decided to purchase one..... a week later, I purchased 2 more.I've had (and still have) all kinds: Nike dryfit, Adidas, Under Armour, Salomon, Asics...you name it. I can honestly say that Vapor Apparel is the most comfortable and very light compared to these. The fabric seems to be high quality and very smooth to the skin...no itch/ friction. My Salomon (2X more in price) compares as far as lightness and comfort, but does not have the same sweat-wicking property. If you live in a warm climate, sunny region I highly recommend these. To state it simply: AWESOME.

This is the second time I have ordered one of these shirts. I live in Florida and am an avid fisherman. I was tired of wearing the typical Columbia shirts as they tend to be a bit cumbersome with all the pockets and a regular cotton long sleeve wouldnt do. I came across this company as I was searching for a lightweight long sleeve shirt with sun protection.Let me tell you, not only does this company make a great shirt that performs well in the Florida summer, but they also ship very fast, it is a small company in the Carolinas with great people. My girlfriend just ordered the same type of shirt from this company and we were given a "thank you" card signed by all 40 employees of the company.I'm VERY impressed with them, would recommend this shirt to any outdoorsmen (and women) and plan on ordering from them again.

Delivered a day earlier than Amazon estimated. Much better quality than I expected. And at a really cheap price. I picked the tan Medium. Fits a little snug. Not too snug for hot summer days. I'm a huge pot belly 182 pounds, 5'10". But really good for summer and then for winter under another shirt or jacket. I expected a cotton look. But this is more of a dressier silk, kind of appearance and feel. No cotton, I think a quality synthetic material. I usually like big oversize sweats and Ts. But this is real nice with jeans. I just ordered two more. More delighted with this than anything else I've gotten in months. :)

I can not bring myself to spend 50 to 60 bucks on some of the popular brands fishing shirts. Not to mention that when I wear a "small" from that big brand that starts with a C it looks like I'm wearing a set of curtains. Not the case with this shirt. The fit is great. I'm 5'8" and 150 with an athletic build and this shirt fits perfect. It's a little more loose in the midsection(not baggy, just relaxed) than a normal t-shirt but that is great for fishing all day when it's hot. I bought one just to see how I liked it. I was on the boat all weekend out in the Florida sun and could not have been happier. I'll definitely be buying more. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.

I am looking for a long sleeve tee shirt to wear below my short sleeve golf shirts to protect my forearms from the sun. This one functions well to about 85-90 degrees but here in Texas, it is commonly 95-100 on the course. I have tried the shirts from coolclothingusa.com and they function about as well. I will keep looking. So far, sun sleeves have turned out to be the coolest thing.

Exactly what I needed. I have used twice while mowing large fields on tractor. Very hot sunny days with VERY high humidity; "feels like temperature" well above 100F, so I expected to suffer, but all was OK. Noticed no sun damage to me, Any long sleeved garment is going to be hot on such a day, being buck naked will be too. Did not snag in the brush. The work was very dirty and afterwards I tossed it into the washer on hand wash cycle with a very small dose of Tide and came out pristine. I have several such garments and this in right there at the top.Rooster

I ordered this shirt from the Vapor site instead of Amazon.I bought this in size XL and sage color. I am 5'9" 190 lbs. with a 45" chest and 44" waist.

I bought this for my husband, who only likes to sleep in extremely soft shirts. He absolutely loves this shirt, which means I love it, too.

Washed this shirt once and the stitching around the neck unraveled and the neck seam came apart. I don't sew, so thrown away . Waste of money.

Great shirt - light, breathes, fits well, good sun protection. Just ordered a 2nd one.

The material of the shirt is pretty good. It's soft and lightweight as advertised, and although it feels thin its barely transparent.

I have to keep ordering shirts because we let family members use one for sun protection then they want to keep it, best shirt ever.

Well I have had this shirt for about 2 month's and some stitching has already started to come undone. Also the shirt stains easily this is the worst shirt I have ever bought.

Great product, fits well. Live in FL, lots of sun exposure, this shirt provides coverage well, and keeps me cool at the same time. Quick drying as well.

Question

This shirt is extremely comfortable. I bought one size larger than I normally wear because I wanted it loose and it's perfect. The material is VERY soft and comfortable.
