Driftmaster 255HR Duo Rod Holder with 1/2-Inch Stem, Black Finish,Grey

I love these rod holders. They work great for exactly what I need them for. Catfishing and Crappie fishing. They are very well made and stout. I "had" the smaller 3/8" shaft I believe it was and it would not fit a catfish rod in it. So I returned them and got these 1/2" shaft ones and they work perfect. They are a lot more wide than the other ones. Great for trolling or anchored fishing. They have a 30 degree position or 0 degree/flat position. I had to make/weld some aluminum brackets to go on my boat to install them where I wanted them. Now I'm able to remove them when I'm not using them.

The best rod holder I've ever owned for trolling, down rodding, etc. I love the way you can set it in two angles and I also love the way it holds the rod. Brought in several 10-15 lb fish on this and it seems so sturdy and easy to remove the rod from the holder when you've got a big fish running on the other end. Mounting options are endless, and I think I've found the best rod holder around.

I ordered 4 of the 255H holders but they did not come with the wing nuts as shown in the picture. How am I supposed to position them where needed and be able to tighten them down? The holders are extremely well built. The strongest I have ever own, but did not come with wing nuts to tighten in position I need them in.

Just as good as Monster rod holders. They held up against large catfish without any issue. I used my own mounting brackets though so idk about those.

These are heavy duty and allow the Rod to sit in an upright or straight out position. Great for big fish !

These were a gift for my grandson he wanted and he is very pleased with it I should of purchased him more than one.

Exactly as expected. This was the best price I could find on these.

Good quality. Advertising was a bit misleading, in my opinion. I honestly thought these came as a 2 pack or I probably (definitely) would have gone with Monster Rod Holders instead. A bit pricy for one rod holder. Again, the quality is good. But there are other products with the same build quality or better for a lesser price. Just being honest. The price is too high and the advertising is misleading about the quantity. If this was a 2 pack, I would buy again. For the single rod holder, at this $30 price tag, I will not buy again.
