Chronos And Creed - Sandalwood Beard Balm Certified Organic

I'm giving this product 3 stars because the manufacturer was polite, while also trying to make sure to manipulate their ratings to keep their reviews up. They offered a full refund, but I still want to review the product.This is not like a beard balm at all. Most beard balms are softer, and offer conditioning as well as some minor degree of control. This product was very hard and waxy, even in my 80 degree Fahrenheit bathroom. The product has a very hard and gritty texture. In order to use it, you have to forcefully gouge it out of the tin, then rub it between your fingers for 30-45 seconds before it melts enough to be work into your beard. It does smell great (strong sandalwood scent), so it has that going for it. If you are looking for something more like a hard beard wax that offers little conditioning but maximum control, this product might be for you. I mainly want something to soften my bristly beard and allow it to relax slightly and be shaped, so it did not work for me at all.I believe this product, like many such products, is made in China and purchased through a site like Alibaba, so the vendor isn't really the manufacturer, and they therefore have little control over what they receive in each shipment...so it's possible that future batches will be better than the product I received.

Used this when I was growing out my beard in COVID lockdown. It worked great for that kept my hair protected from the cold and dry temps. Now I use it to style my hair, works great for that too. So many balms have no stand to them. They are greasy and make you look like a oiled down rat. Not this stuff, makes my hair look like Brad pit. Like Brad pit was hanging out on my head winking at women. I hope they get some more soon. And don’t listen to the haters that don’t know how to use balm. It shouldn’t be that always wet when it’s cool out like that chemical balm you use. You have to work the balm with your fingers. That’s the way natural substance work, they get hot and they melt down and become workable. Keep up the good work.!

This may be the worst balm I have tried. It does not melt well in my hands and it kind of feels gritty almost like that orange soap you use to get grease off your hands but not as abrasive or sawdust . I reached out to the company and it’s been four days and they have not responded back to me.(now over 2 weeks) Not sure if it was a bad batch or what. Also the scent is very weak. I am not at all impressed. I will stick with beard guys/ rocky mountain barbershop and mountaineer brand. ✌🏻

Sadly, yet another beard balm that smells funky and nothing like sandalwood. I really like the fact that it was made in the USA with organic ingredients; it just needs to have the sandalwood fragrance that it advertises. The closest thing I can use to describe the smell is linseed oil which is not something you want on our face or anywhere around your nose.

I bought this for my boyfriend to replace the other beard balm he was using and I really like the fact that this one is ORGANIC! This beard balm has a slight sandalwood scent which is not too overpowering. I am usually pretty sensitive when it comes to perfumes or colognes but the smell of this is actually quite nice. One morning my boyfriend wasn’t feeling so well so I helped him by applying the beard balm for him and to my pleasant surprise, I discovered that this makes a great moisturizer as well! As you can see from the before and after photos, the balm was able to moisturize my dry hands. I now apply this to my elbows and other problem areas too. Definitely going to need more of this stuff! Great product!

I like the sandalwood beard balm, because i want to moisturize my beard and face, and smell great up close as well. Its great that this is organic too. Five stars. Pat

I am truly in love with Chronos and Creed’s beard line, seeing that this sandalwood scent was released, I had to get my hands on it! It is easily to melt down with your hands and there is no grit, the product has lasted through a day’s work and gym session without my skin being compromised by sweat! The smell is also not overwhelming, and lasts all day! Truly great work guys!

I started using beard balm to make my beard softer, I found that along with that it gave my beard a better look and a pleasant scent.
