The scooter is of a great quality. We bought it nearly a decade ago and it’s still rise smoothly. That’s a no frills type of scooter, silver for bigger kids I would say 7 and up.

Very durable scooter that was purchased as a Christmas gift and has already been ridden multiple times. It is only rated for just over 140 lbs, but at 175 lbs I rode it for a few minutes with no noticeable issues in the metal, bearings, or wheels. It was purchased for our 5 year old daughter (approx 4' tall) who it fits without issue while still being adjustable up to my height of 6'3". It folds up nicely to store away when not in use or for traveling in the car. The break on the back wheel works well stopping in a few feet depending on the speed and size of the person who is stopping.As a background my 5 year old is transitioning from a Micro Mini scooter by the Micro brand. It is a three wheel fixed height scooter that she still fits relatively well. We have been happy with it, but she was ready for a "big girl" scooter and at a lower price point the Razor A3 seemed to be pretty comparable to more expensive Micro brand scooters. We are not disappointed in our decision at all, but also can not truly speak to how the Micro may have been better/worse/different.Overall, great product with a wide range of height/size options.

This scooter is well built and serves me well. I am a 20 year old college student who uses it to get around campus. Compared to the A1 model, the larger wheels make it a much smoother ride. Being a tall person, the slightly taller handle bars and slightly larger platform make it easier to use too. This scooter is sturdy and folds well, making it easy to fold up and carry to class. My scooter gives me a sense of safety as well. It is solid and I bet I could beat up a wild animal with it if one ever attacked me. I enjoy hopping curbs, taking fast corners, and doing wheelies. Also, it is a great way to become popular with the ladies; they always want to go for a ride on my scooter. My homies all have scooters too and we roll 20 deep, tearing up our campus sidewalks. I scoot everywhere, indoors and outdoors. To scoot is to live. I sleep with my scooter every night and dream of flying down sidewalks at high speeds, being chased by a snow leopard. My only fear is that my scooter will eventually break because I am 20 pounds over the reccomended weight limit and I let my fat friends use it a lot.

A great little toy for young children. This compact and collapsible scooter is a great and inexpensive way for your kids to scoot (pun intended) around the neighborhood. If you ever owned a kick scooter as a child you'll remember how heavy they were. Sure you could haul your friend around on one with you. However, they were big and bulky and didn't store too compactly.The Razor scooter has solved those old issues. These things are lightweight and they collapse down to the size of the board. The only thing that might make this more durable is to swap out the foam grips for rubber ones. The foam is going to wear out before anything else. At the price point they're sold at, getting a replacement set of grips is easy enough. The increased wheel size of the A3 provides better stability and more motion per push. The wheelie bar might be a bit excessive, but hey maybe it'll give your kid some confidence to try some risky moves and push their boundaries.

My son who is almost 5 but the size of a 6/7 year old and very adept and biking / scooting, tried the A1, A2 and A5 in a local shop. Wow - totally recommend doing this because we could tell instantly that the less reviewed, seemingly less popular A3 was perfect for him. Can’t understand why the A1 is so popular!! Get this instead!!! I am 120 lb so meet the maximum weight requirement and I tried it and could see why my son preferred it too: the larger board is nicer to use (even for small feet), feels “just right” and the wheel size is perfect.My son loves that it folds and has an adjustable telescopic handle bar.Couldn’t find a better price for the silver / black anywhere else. Thanks Amazon!P.S. my son went from a three Wheel scooter to a two wheel. Don’t let anyone tell you that your young child needs the Micro Mini over the Razor. My son mastered the Razor in less than an hour. The Micro Mini is super fun and agile (I tried it as well) and very well made but expensive and if your kid is like mine, will want a “big boy” scooter with two wheels to look hip with the other kids in the playground . It will also grow with your child and last longer !! All for $80.
