Narrower than some, but comfortable
These are the 2nd pair of these I've owned. Reviewing the new pair is unfair. The previous boots lasted me some 5 or 6 years. The full grain leather is robust for hiking but does mark and scratch like all leather footwear. The boots have a good midsole and the goretex membrane well protected for long life.As said the lasts these are made from suit narrower feet. My advice is to get professional fitting service if unsure.

Totally worth it!!
I've been searching for some good walking boots that would suit the terrain I walk for some time. I wanted some that would not let any water in whilst walking through the wet grass... These did not disappoint! I previously had Scarpa walking boots but they were not as waterproof as they said they were, unfortunately. They were extremely comfy but also wore out within 10 months, which for the money, I thought was pretty poor. These, though, are amazing! My feet are totally dry after walking through many fields with long grass for quite some time. They are comfy and originally I didn't want this kind of style boot but I am now glad I gave them a chance. I would warn you to wear them in for a few walks... I didn't and ended up with some blisters, but that's totally my own fault! ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐ If this is the kind of situation you need your walking boots to endure, give them a go, you won't be disappointed!

Comfy from the get go and great quality
Great boots, well made and comfy right out of the box. Not had them long so can't vouch for durability but zamberlan are a good name so I'm pretty confident these will last me years. Been out in wet muddy conditions and they've had good grip and kept my feet warm and dry. Chose zamberlan for their quality and eco credentials and I'm not disappointed. If you're considering buying, definitely go a size up as they do come up slightly small, other than that, can't fault them.

Zamberlan are the Boots of Choice
I bought my last pair of Zamberlan boots in a sale because they looked good and they were going cheap. They were a cheaper model around about ยฃ50 but they lasted me a good 10 years. Even though they wore out they were still comfortable and it was only when the sole finally split and was letting in water that I decided to retire them.I bought these as I am now walking every day over uneven terrain and I wanted more support. These are the most comfortable boots I think I have ever put on my feet. Excellent water resistance, warmth and walking comfort. They are worth paying the price and I am sure they will surpass the 10 year life of my other pair.I normally take a size 7 euro 40 but when I looked at the sizing chart I was a little worried as it showed 40 as a size 6.5. So I took a chance and ordered 7.5 euro 41. They are a good fit and I think size 40 would have been just a little bit too small.Lastly, they were delivered to France within 4 days so usual excellent Amazon Service too!

Need breaking in but then superb
After a negative experience with some Karrimor boots that fell apart inside six months, I decided to go for known quality having had a pair of Zamberan Trek Lites some years back that saw me to Everest Base Camp and many other places. These did blister me on the first try but my fault for not taping up. Now they are broken in they are very comfortable, supportive and very well constructed. They hold your foot well and have decent toe space which can be an issue for me and my long toes. May not be the best bet if you have a wide foot but otherwise a great boot choice.

Perfect!
Very comfortable, waterproof, stylish, lightweight. Cost more than most walking boots but worth it.

Get a Size Bigger
I got size 10.5 (45) as this is my usual size for walking boots. However they were way too small. A size 11.5 (47) was just right. Apart from the size problem the boots are excellent.
