These are the only batteries you’ll ever need to buy. The upfront cost is higher than non rechargeable batteries, but in the long run it saves you money and is better for the environment. They also don’t leak as they age like alkaline batteries that corrode.

I have been buying rechargeable batteries since the late 70s. I'll tell you some things. Get a high quality charger. (I am using a 15 year old maha C 401fs. It now costs $44. A cheap charger will beat up your batteries and make your investment worthless. Look for individually controlled charging slots, - delta-v, temperature monitoring. I like to charge AA and AAA batteries at 500 ma. Slow charging means your batteries take more charging cycles. I see a "top review" that alleges these are "fraud batteries" because unused they drop to 1.3 volts. the opinion expressed in that review should carry little weight. It's important to remember that NIMH batteries might be chargeable to 1.5 volts but that is just "surface charge" and it will disappear with the smallest use or time. NIMH technology is rated at 1.2 volts. When you take a battery off charge and measure it immediately the voltage you are picking up the "surface charge" effect; that is the reason you can ever get a 1.5 volt measurement off nimh batteries but that's just "Surface charge" it does not represent useable power. Don't believe me? Then it's time to learn more about battery charging. I'd suggest your favorite search engine. If you use rechargeables the way I do you will spend a lot more than $4. a year on batteries so a good quality charger makes sense. 1. Candlepower forums does not sell batteries or chargers, but the folks there publish the best reviews, including technical details. 2. Eneloops whites are simply the longest lasting batteries available. Low self discharge (aka pre-charged nimh, aka LSD batteries should hold an 85% charge through a year of storage in reasonable conditions and these do. I have used them all from Eneloops to tenergy centuras to the old (no longer available) Harbor freight precharged to duracell precharged. I am lucky if any other brand takes half as many charges as eneloops. I use a 4 AAA moderately high discharge flashlight about 10 hours a week for work and that's a couple of charge cycles. Also my Oral B, and a grooming appliance are powered by AA's, along with the usual complement of low drainitems where I might use a lesser NIMH battery. I do think the price is high, but I buy white eneloops for high-use systems because they last. The black eneloops store more power but do self-discharge a bit more, and do not take as many cycles. Bottom line: bite the bullet on price, go quality and enjoy reliable, economical, low environmental burden batteries; Japanese eneloop whites are the best of breed.

Came just as expected. I had a rechargeable Logitech keyboard that completely quit working and accepting a charge. I purchased these to replace the batteries in the keyboard and they worked perfectly. They have a little more life than the original ones and are perfectly compatible. The charging takes a little longer but that is to be expected.

I purchased these rechargeable batteries for my exercise bike which tends to drain AA batteries quickly, when used with a D to AA battery adapter. The batteries last long (about a month) and are rechargeable so I don’t have to worry about throwing them away and spending money again to replace the dead batteries, and can reuse them in other electronics. I can also recharge them again and move it to another device. One thing to keep in mind is that it is not 1.5 volts, it is 1.2 volts but most devices are ok with accepting 1.2 volt batteries from my personal experience. I also purchased these batteries since they don’t leak like alkaline batteries and I dealt with device damage due to alkaline batteries leaking several times. I am definitely not going back to purchasing alkaline batteries ever.

I picked up this 4 pack of Eneloop AA batteries so I could stop burning through disposables in remotes and game controllers, and they have been great so far. They come precharged, so I was able to drop them straight into my devices and start using them right away. Even after sitting in a drawer for a while, they still hold a good charge, which is one of the main reasons I prefer Eneloops over cheaper rechargeables. In regular use they last at least as long as good quality disposable AAs in things like controllers, flashlights, and wireless mice. When they finally run down, I just recharge them and put them back into rotation, instead of throwing them away and buying more. Over time that makes a big difference in both cost and convenience. If you have several AA powered gadgets around the house and want a reliable set of rechargeables you can use over and over, this 4 pack is a very solid place to start.

Eneloop are one of, if not the best rechargeable batteries out there! Retain charge for a long time....real capacity and not some fancy claims like so many others! You will get your money's worth with them!

I've been using Eneloop batteries exclusively in my Xbox controllers for over a year now and can confidently say these are the best batteries I've ever used! Not only do they last longer than the "name brand" Alkaline batteries I was previously using, they're rechargeable which results in less environmental waste and more money in my pocket. Win/Win! I use these batteries primarily for my Xbox One X controllers. I game several hours daily, as well as using to control/navigate apps, streaming, bluray player etc.. and these batteries last a week+ before needing to be recharged. I use the BQ-CC17 charger. It plugs directly into an outlet and is fairly low-profile. A green LED light is visible for each battery during the charging process. The LED lights turns off and the charger will shut-down once charging is complete. This is a great safety feature, especially for overnight charging. Charging takes approx. 6 - 7 hours to complete. Previously spending $10 per month on non-rechargeables, these Eneloops have already paid for themselves. I've been using them exclusively for over a year with no issues.
