label says....High fructose corn syrup. Very good amber gingerale.

Q: Why is this so expensive? This would sell for less than $ 5 in stores.

Vernon's sold to Pepsi and the ginger ale flowed at $.99 for a two liter bottle. It has since been acquired by Keurig Dr Peter. Production took a hit in 2020 due to Covid-19. I don't know what the bottlers excuse is for leaving grocery store shelves empty 😶

I’m told that it no longer contains “ginger” but still tastes like the original from my childhood memories in Detroit 50 some years ago.
