Oracle RMAN for Absolute Beginners

The Oracle DBA cannot have too much information about RMAN and database recovery. Basic but a good reference to have handy.

I picked up a copy of this at Rocky Mountain Oracle Users' Group in 2015. I'm an RMAN rookie so this book was perfect for my needs. The code examples and explanations are clear.There is some humor in this book, so that makes it fun to read. The best line concerns a diagram. The legend reads : DBA, Appears somewhat short and bald in the diagram, which isn't far from the truth (in my case).

Great book. Simple and direct. Congrats to the writer.
