This is the 3rd time I have purchased these bags, which should tell you how much I like them. Why? Value.They cost WAY less than the Foodsaver brand bags, and work at least as well. So far, with over 200 used, I have not had a single bag failure. THey seal easily, and keep food in perfect condition.You can't go wrong with these bags.

These bags are the best bargain around! They were recommended to me by a friend, so I tried them, and was not disappointed. Foodsaver bags can get a bit pricey, but I was a little concerned about the quality of a cheaper brand, so I figured I could use them on food where an air leak was not a big deal if they turned out to be inferior. Well, These bags rock! They are just as sturdy, just as thick, and vacuum out just as easily! They come in a poly bag that is sturdy enough to store them in, I don't have to worry about trying to store them neatly. But at the rate I am using them, that probably wouldn't be a problem.So far I have ordered the gallon, quart and now the pint size. I like the pint size so I can freeze individual servings of meat. I live alone, but I also don't have access to a store that is close by, so I buy good meats in bulk and freeze them. I also have relatives who give me treats of venison, so I pack that is single portions, and as "payment", bake homemade bread for those relatives, which I will pre-freeze and then vacuum seal in the gallon bags for when I see them again.This last shipment came a little more slowly, but that might be Amazon's fault, as I was ordering other items that they might have been waiting for to come in, so I can't really fault the company for that. I will certainly buy again.

I was so happy to find a pint size Food Vac bag. These babies do not disappoint. The bag is study and slightly thicker than those made for "Food Saver". They sealed quite nicely using my Food Saver (several reviews of the more commercial versions cautioned that too thick bags do not always work in every food sealer)I was looking for a brand that was sturdy, and these most certainly are!The value for your money is great. Having a pint sized version saves time as well. Don't have to make my own using bags from a roll, cutting them and resealing.I also purchased their Quart sized bags, and they work very nicely too.

I have purchased these bags a few times before (in a 50/50 pint/quart package), and these are not the same quality as the ones I received in the past.When I opened the package of pint bags, I noticed that they seemed to be less thick, particularly on the textured side. The texture is also quite a bit finer than the bags I received in past orders (I compared these with the last 2 bags I had), which may contribute to them seeming to be less thick.I just tried to use these and (visualize holding the bag with the opening up and the non-textured side facing me), the right hand side seam on 5 out 7 bags opened right up - the heat seal gave out, without putting any stress at all on it.Very disappointed.

I bought these over the brand name bags due to price per unit. These are substantially less than the brandname ones and they are just as good. For the price of 32 brandname ones, I get 100 of these!The only thing that I can find different on them is that the don't have a printed area for you to write on like the brandname ones do. I will be buying these from now on.

I tend to cook large and use these bags for leftovers. Food lasts longer and tastes fresher in the fridge. No issues with burn when tossed in the freezer. Seal tight. can par boil the contents to reheat. Cheap way to make food last and taste fresh made longer.

About 33 percent of the time, the food saver is unable to vacuum the air out of these bags. We've spent a decent amount of time trying to figure out why -- is it moisture, food particles, oil, wrinkled bags?... we can't find anything.All I know is that about a third of the time I have to take the food out of the bag, throw it away and try a new one. It's annoying, wastes time, and makes this product less cost effective.Also with this product, make sure you double seal the end -- the seal is less consistent on this product than on food saver brand and we have had air seep back into the bag while in the refrigerator.

I've used a couple hundred of these bags and they are sturdy, seal well with my food saver and easy on the wallet! I primarily use the pint size bags for single serving freezing. I've used the quart size to package a butcher hog two years in a row now. I will continue to use them.
