Works great.

The battery was partially charged upon arrival. I plugged it in and it took the charge showing me that this is going to work quite well. The Battery came with a small Phillips screwdriver, which may be required on some installations, however, my Bose required a small Hex Wrench instead of the Phillips. Other than that, it seems to be a very good purchase to bring my Bose Portable Speaker back to new condition.

My Soundlink III started acting weird after 5 years of ownership. The light didn't turn red or appeared to be a battery charge issue. Speaker would just turn off randomly, even while plugged in to AC power. Finally, the speaker would not turn on, no lights, no anything. It would make the beep noise when plugging in AC power and disconnecting, but no other signs of life. I was unable to do the reset procedure or get the speaker to do anything.Rather than throwing the out of warranty speaker away as my wife suggested, I figured I would take a gamble and try a new battery. Glad I did! Battery replacement took less than 10 minutes and this even came with a screwdriver to do it. Super easy. Speaker immediately came back to life and works great. Battery takes a charge and appears to be lasting longer than when it was new, although that could be placebo affect.

Initially this battery was great. Easy to install, charged correctly and held a charge. Battery no longer charges to full. If left on the shelf for a week, battery completely dies. Will not charge to full even after leaving it charging over night. Continuously blinks orange.

The battery itself is great. I am very impressed with the ease of installation in my Bose, and that it is so nearly a duplicate of the original. It charged OK, and seems to be working well.I took off one star for the tease of providing me the tool to do the replacement. They did provide a tool, just not the one needed to replace this particular battery. It would have been nice to have, but I do own screwdrivers, so it just took me a short while to find the needed one for this project, Would have taken off only a half star for that, but Amazon only lets me do 1 star increments.

The Bose battery says it is 2100mAh and model 330105. This one is 2330 mAh and have not researched if the higher number is good or bad. All I needed was an Allen wrench and the speaker was back in service. It was not holding charge for long where before it would run for many hours without a charge. That’s all for now

New battery brought my 12 year old Bose soundlink 2 speaker back to life. Every time batt level used to change the speaker would shut off. Popped this in (which took about 2 minutes) and speaker is working like new. Used it for 7 hours yesterday and the battery indicator never even dropped to orange. Time will tell if it lasts, but so far so good.
