Nice powder for my mom. Packaged perfectly for her and works well.

I must first say that the review by "Sue J in TN" is completely wrong on all counts. I realized different scents smell differently on different people, but every word of her review concerning this product is not correct. She says it smells like "Shower to Shower"-not even close. She said it is "nasty"-a conclusion that i doubt anyone but her would say. And the next time she'll go to the Dollar Store? sue J sounds like the kind of person who should do all of her shopping at the dollar store, because she clearly has not taste or ability to assess products. My review: I stumbled upon this product, specifically the powder, and have loved it and ordered it ever since. I've read all of the comments and reviews about the scent being different than ay one time. I get a lot of compliments on it, most recently yesterday, from the girl doing my ultrasound, and I'd guess her age to be about late 20's to early 30's. I am 58. I actually had a chance to show her the bottle since she had never heard of it, because before the ultrasound I had a mammogram. For that test, you must remove powder and deodorant, so I brought those items with me to re-hadn't either until I took a chance on it while looking through scented powders on Amazon. To get an idea of the type of fragrance it, which may help you decide, I can tell you that I sold Avon for 6 years. During that time I tried several scented powders. I got hooked on Avon's regular "Imari" scent" which I believe is in the "spicy, oriental floral category", but subtle, not overpowering. I would often 10 or 12 at time when on sale. Their reg. price is way overprice​. At one point they were out of it and I needed some powder. I looked around Amazon and decided to try this one, and I LOVE it. I will still buy it at times if the sale price is low enough and the shipping is free or low. I use both Imari and Maja, depending on the prices. The ONLY complaint I have about this Maja scented powder is the price. It seems to increase in price almost every time I go back to get more. All the prices from all the sellers go up. I hope they stop doing this, and in fact, hope they will drop the price. They would sell more and make more of a profit because I'm sure that many other regular customers are not happy about the price increases over the past couple of years. I buy 2 bottles at a time and they have gone up regularly.

I love this scent, it is soft, yet not super flowery. I have used the Maja scent for many years... And I get stopped frequently and asked what I am wearing. I like the lotion layered with the talc. The perfume is also good, uses a very small mist, and as it settles it is just noticeable.

I remember Maja from when I was a child (I'm 74 now) but the only place obtainable was southern Texas or Mexico. Later on I found some soap at a discount store and once it was gone, it was gone. A few years ago I came across Maja on Amazon. I bought the bath wash, talc, moisturerizer and fragrance. I found I did not need the fragrance since the wash, moisturerizer and talc provided just the right scent: light, nonintrusive and definitely not overwhelming and best of all, you don't taste it like a lot of other perfumes. And I don't have to bust the bank since it is very affordable. THANK YOU MAJA!!!

There are apparently "counterfeits" being sold under the Maja brand. This is the real stuff. The scent is heavenly. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered it, I received the black containers. They can't hold a candle to these.a
