The Complete Book of Square Dancing Paperback – June 1, 2000

I was looking thru our local library for a book on Square dance calls and came up with nothing. This book has good detail and illustrations.

The book came quickly and was in good condition. I was disappointed in the information inside the book, not the seller. It was just hard to follow the dance steps. I should have purchased a DVD so I could see the moves instead of just reading about them.

This book was exactly what I wanted. Photos and text clearly show the dance moves and explanations. This is great for refreshing my skills. Thank you.

Nothing wrong with the quality of the book itself, but the content had far fewer diagrams and photos than we had anticipated. Not good for visual learners. Also, it's for traditional square dancing, not the modern Western style that's taught at our local gathering.

The content is correct, but the pictures & information needs updating. For the price, I expected much better quality. Someone needs to write a decent book on modern square dancing - not just a 101 edition, but for the advanced dancers. I thought this was it, but I was disappointed - wouldn't recommend it.

A very full review of various dance steps and their variations. Good for the beginner as well as the advanced dancer. Recommended.

Just starting to learn square dancing and this book is excellent on it's own - plus a wonderful support and clarification of lessons.
