The media could not be loaded.  I am 73 years old and am on a constant watch for the perfect pillow that will provide the elusive perfect night's sleep. In the last few years, I have bought quite a few pillows in this quest, and found these pillows strictly by chance. Since the reviews were so good, I decided to try a set of them.As we all know, pillows are a very personal thing. Personally, I am a side-sleeper which requires a pillow supportive enough to support my head but not so firm I get a kink in my neck. I also prefer a pillow that is soft, but not so soft that it sinks to the mattress when I lay my head on it. In addition, I want a pillow that doesn't retain heat so I end up flipping from one side of the bed to the other to find a cool spot.At this point, I have slept on this pillow for 6 nights, and it has met all of my criteria except that it could use a bit more fill to increase the loft and firmness. I contacted the seller to find out if they supplied additional fill for this purpose and was told they didn't at this point, but would consider doing so if enough buyers requested it. I did find a gallon baggie full of the same fill material I had removed from a previous pillow purchase. I added this to the pillow and it helped a lot. With a little more fill, this pillow would easily become my favorite.Features I love about this pillow:1 - It's washable. So many of the down alternatives are not washable.2 - The fill material is a soft cottony synthetic that retains it's loft and is not crunchy or lumpy. I have bought a few pillow in the past that were filled with foam particles or cubes. Some of them included pieces of plastic on the particles that crunched when you put your head on the pillow. I found out later they were made from cut up leftovers from mattresses. Some were filled with large pieces of foam rubber that felt lumpy and caused head sweating.3 - The fill material can be adjusted to conform to the sleeper's habits. Stomach sleepers would want less fill so their backbone isn't bent backwards when sleeping on the pillow. Back sleepers might want a medium fill so their chin isn't force to lay on their chest. Side sleepers (like me) need more loft to support the head and a pillow that fits against the shoulder.4 - The case and the fill does not retain heat from the head. This one is important to me. The first night I used this pillow, I woke up the next morning in the same position I went to sleep in. This is a rarity for me.5 - The pillow is very light weight. This may seem like an unimportant point, but the pillow I had been using weighed well over 5 lbs. and making my bed every morning required muscles. This pillow is just as large and lofty, yet is so much easier to move.Of the many pillows I have bought in the last couple of years, this is one that I would recommend for most people. The only reason I rated this pillow 4 star instead of 5 is that additional fill material is not available at this time for those who prefer more loft and a firmer pillow. If the seller provides additional fill material or uses more fill for the original pillow, this is easily a 10 star pillow.UPDATE 11/16/20:I have been using this pillow for a little over 4 months, and have been getting a better night's sleep. Recently, I washed my linens and inadvertently, had changed the positions of my 4 pillows, two on each side of the bed. In the past, I had been using 2 pillows to get more loft, but didn't need two pillows when using the Faunna pillow. At any rate, I was waking up during the night to turn over to the other side of the bed because my head was sweating. After about a week of this, I decided to check the labels on my pillows, and sure enough, my Faunna pillow was one of the back pillows. I moved it to the front pillow, and that night I didn't wake up once with a sweating head. The sleep score on my Samsung Watch 3 went from 46 to 78 for that night. If nothing else, this proves that the pillows and bedding you use have a huge effect on your quality of sleep. At least for me, the Faunna pillow helps me to get a better night's sleep.I hope this review was helpful for you. I will update this review if my opinion changes or I have additional information.

I feel like I've been buying so much stuff for my back lately! I strained it and I think not having good support under my head and neck at night wasn't helping. One needs to have good shoes, a good mattress, and good pillows. No one told me getting old was going to be like this. I needed new pillows to replace 2 I wore out over 3 years. I spent a lot of time checking out the different ones and these fell in the right price range and what I need. I'm happy.I almost hate giving these 5 stars because, like me, lots of people pay more attention to 3 and 4 stars. These deserve every a 5-star rating so don't skip this.PROS --They are somehow soft and firm at the same time. I sleep with 4 pillows on the bed and these are now my favorite for neck and head support. I spent a lot of time when I first got them just squeezing and releasing to see if they would stand up to the pressure. They do.- I LOVE that I can pull out some of the filling. Right now, I like them just as they are but down the road, I might want to flatten one and fill up another. I don't know but it's nice to have the option. And the zipper is so well-hidden that you barely notice it. That's kind of cool.- The fabric is cool. Even though I use pillowcases, some of my pillows get so warm and retain body heat. Also, the color isn't that stark-harsh-white, but an off-white that looks nicer.I pretty much like everything about these pillows. The support is great but if you need more or less volume, it's nice that they adjust.By the way, I got a kick out of opening and letting these fluff out. I am such a child, but it was cool to watch something wrapped so nice and compactly open up and become so full and lush. And these did come wrapped nicely - almost like a fancy gift. I am keeping the good plastic covers they came with for when I need to move or store them temporarily.
