The Kordon AmQuel One-Step Aquarium Water Conditioner arrived in good Condition – no Leaks. It was very well packaged – two Boxes, with a Plastic Bag around the Bottle containing the Liquid, which was also sealed at the Spout.I have been using this Product for more than 30 Years. I currently have three Aquariums and I usually do Water Changes every two Weeks, replacing about 1/3 of the Water in each Tank. I am very happy with its efficacy in treating the Tap Water prior to using it in my Aquariums. When I replace the Aquarium Water with the Amquel-treated Water, the Fish are not shocked by the Water Change.I would recommend this Product.

Work great Easy to use

Great product that works perfectly for city water treated with chloramines. I buy it buy the gallon since it saves me so much money over those tiny little bottles they sell at pet supply stores. FYI - 1 gallon will last me about 15 years in a 55 gallon aquarium.

The only way to know if this works is by the results. My koi are spawning, so it sends my Master Test Kit results off the charts. Ammonia At 8 ppm the test is green. My water went past the green and into blue and has been there for 8 days and is still there. Amquel makes the ammonia non toxic to fish but it still registers on the test kit as being present. At 8 ppm plus should be toxic but my fish fine and are spawning. Even at 15% water changes daily, I should take out more but I vacuum into buckets and water all my plants and grass and that is all they can take. I will not waste water. All that to say, It must work because my koi are still alive. I use the product according to directions and with every water change I add it again, but only for the amount of water that was replaced unless they are continually at it then I give the recommended dosage, just to be sure. So buy the gallon.

This is a great product whether you have a fish tank or a pond. It works fast and effectively to reduce ammonia and chloramines.

This stuff works great for the water changes. I have not had any issues related to chlorine, and my ammonia levels are acceptable. With a 180 gallon tank, I use it a lot, so buying in bulk is pretty good. I did see it at Petco for about the same price, so might go there in the future, to avoid the shipping.One note on the packaging...the cap was not taped over, and there was a very small amount of leakage. I've seen that in other big liquid containers. I bought some Flourish Excel which had tape over the cap, and there was no leakage there.

Buying this in bulk really saves me some money!
