Very Nice Earbuds for the Money Spent!!
I placed my order for this Sennheiser model after reading the generally favorable reviews. Since then, I've been very satisfied with them. I feel they're a major improvement over the cheap, mass-produced earbuds sold everywhere else. One feature I really appreciate is the level of noise isolation. The earbuds really numb down outside noises. I even had trouble hearing myself speak. Granted, these DO NOT completely silence outside noise sources, but they fit my needs perfectly. The sound quality is very clear, enjoyable, and remarkably better than I initially expected. I could even clearly hear percussion and drum beats in the songs I was listening to. I could go on but you get the point. These earbuds are QUALITY!! For the money spent, you really get a nicely-made product. I'll definitely continue using mine into the forseeable future.

Great Sennheiser sound
So these earphones are great! Just what I expected from Sennhieser. I had the CX300 before and the sound seems even better in particular the high, and the mid. The bass sounds just as good. To get good bass use the larger ear adapter to get a better seal. That worked with mine to get more bass. The mid, and treble are just phenomenal and just what I expect from Sennheiser. Also the box was a surprise. A nice looking box. Anyways for the price 5/5 stars.

Decent sound, thinner build quality than next best model
The sound quality is generally good, but not as good as the next model up. The noise cancellation is about the same. Slightly less comfortable and the cord is thinner and not tangle-free like the next model up. For the $20 difference in price though, it's good enough for my needs.

Bad Sound on PC w/ out an expensive sound card
The headset works fine on a phone, however it glides out of my ear when used on my phone. Don't even think about using this on a computer for gaming if you don't plan on dropping 100 dollars for a good sound card. My current 50 dollar sound card does this no justice and makes gaming a horrible experience. Turned up to max volume it's very hard to hear things, however when I plug it into an expensive sound system although it's still not optimal, it sounds good enough for gaming.

Cheap Sennheiser earbuds whats not to like.
This is my 3rd set of Sennheiser earbuds. Always liked the sound quality. I am no audiophile but I know what sounds good to me. Would recommend these for the price.

Comfortable, great sound
Sound great, and comfortably fit well enough to block most external ambient noise. I sleep with mine; without the ear pain I get from larger headphones.

Very Disappointing, Absolutely No Bass
I was really looking forward to trying these but was extremely disappointed. These have no bass whatsoever. I had to crank the lower frequencies all the way up and cut the mids and highs on my Sony Walkman NW-A55 just to hear any bass at all. I was starting to think there was something wrong with the Walkman. Then I tried the ear buds from my old IPOD NANO and was blown away! I was able to run them almost flat on the EQ and the difference was astonishing. Don't waste your money on these. If you want to enjoy rich, full range sound, look elsewhere.

Finally. EDIT: failed after ten days
Left channel started dropping in and out/crackling at multiple volume levels on multiple sources. I'm stunned. These headphones *didn't last as long as $9 Monoprice earbuds*. Delivered April 8th, died April 18th. I've been experimenting for several years with far too many under $100 headphones, ranging from many of the well reviewed cheaper brands like the kz ed1 classics to the monoprice 97's to head-fi man, to various Target shelf brands to Beats. I break gear a lot and sleep with them on, so buying more expensive headphones is not ideal. These are by far the best. When I first opened the box and listened, I was disappointed. The sound was harsh and the buds hurt my ears. I then switched to the largest rubber tips that came in the box for a proper ear seal. Then l let them "burn in" by playing music through them for several hours and set my Android eq to "jazz". Wow. The difference in sound quality is now very apparent compared to other brands. These sound better than my akg studio 240 over-ears. The bass is tasteful, and the mids and highs are fantastic. Vocals sound really, really good. My biggest issue with the other brands was longevity and points of failure (jack, mic, etc) I'm hoping these hold out longer. And I'm glad they don't have a mic, which more often than not fail and wreak havoc with phones. Edit: It's not easy to find the left and right designation. At first. But the left earbud stem has a series of little bumps you can feel, the right earbud does not. So no need to look at the buds to determine the proper channel. Also, I feel like these earbuds could use a little more power on my Android phone. On my laptop, the sound is bigger and more rounded out. Either way, still highly recommended. And the horizontal angle on the jack plug is a nice touch to reduce tension and reduce breakage.

My mom really likes this headset whilst jogging but apparently this model was discontinued so she asked me if I could pick her up a spare as Amazon was one of the few remaining outlets that still had them at a reasonable price. She like the way the button works too (which is apparently changed on the updated models).

First of all the ear bud size range was pretty cool and just the shape of them in general they where much different than your generic brand and fit your ears betting as well.the sound quality was good for price over all good earbuds.
