Beasyjoy for iPhone XR Metal Case, Waterproof Heavy Duty Case with Built-in Screen Protector, Full Body Protective Shockproof Tough Rugged Military Grade Defender Outdoor Case(Yellow)

So I am one of the most accident prone people I know when it comes to cell phones. I literally drop my phone at least once a week, usually from it being in my lap and I get up and it drops to the floor. I've been purchasing Otter boxes for years up until I decided I wanted waterproof. The last couple cases I got were waterproof, but it wasn't long before I was dealing with a trouble using the touch screen, plus the reception quality would drop significantly. Also, the rubber 'plugs' would always eventually break off or be loose, therefore no longer truly waterproof. A few months ago I decided to move back to Florida and knew I'd be on the water a lot, so I did a lot of research and decided on this Beasyjoy Case for my iPhone 8 Plus. Received the package which was impeccably packed, with the tools included. I hadn't realized that there would be screws involved, which requires a special tool, so I was a little hesitant, because there wasn't going to be an easy way to pop out the phone if I needed to for some reason. You have to unscrew all the screws, place your phone inside, and make sure you line it up right before screwing back together or the switch on the side for silent mode won't work. I was impressed with the quality of all the materials, and particularly impressed with the fact it is literally made with a heavy metal and durable rubber. This is NOT a lightweight case (I can't wear this in my back pocket unless I have a belt on to keep my pants up properly, LOL). But if you want quality protection at a reasonable price, you have to have quality material. It took less than 6 hours for me to find out if it would survive a fall, because I dropped it on CONCRETE where it bounced twice and sounded awful. Both my uncle and I cringed when it dropped, and we fully expected a cracked screen just from how hard it hit the concrete. Alas, my woes were for naught! The paint was pretty scuffed in two spots, but my phone was pristine! Talk out durable!! I couldn't have cared less about the paint, because I didn't buy the case to look pretty, I bought it to protect my ridiculously expensive smart phone, and it absolutely did exactly that. The rubber plug at power port can be a bit of a pain to pull out for charging, but that's perfectly fine with me because it means it's actually plugging and sealing the phone from moisture. I have dropped it a couple more times since my purchase, and yep, held up like a champ. I also love how the rubber backside helps keep it from sliding around, there's also a slot where you can loop through the strap they provide, and I love the bright yellow so that it's easier to find if I drop it in the water or wherever. The touch screen works perfect! I don’t have a screen protector on the phone itself, so I think that is helping. I also made sure my phone was thoroughly clean before putting the case on it. Now it does muffle the sound a little bit, and WiFi range is shorter, but I’m a realist and understand physics. You simply can’t expect a case to be waterproof and not end up muffling the sound or range a bit. So I simply use the Bluetooth to listen to music via headphones or my sound bar.

Update: I reached out to Beasyjoy and advised of the problem. They were very fast at reaching back to me. There is a warranty and they stuck by it. Within 2 emails and them verifying my previous order I was sent a new replacement without any problems. Customer Service was outstanding. Highly recommended product and company. 5 stars. First Review: Case is great for sure. I’ve had for 3months and is Extremely durable. Works as stated. Definately satisfied in the durability department. I cannot tel you about waterproof because I didn’t check and that was not a reason I purchased this case. I have 3 complaints for the phone. #1 People have a problem hearing and understanding me. Sounds muffled when I speak to them. I have to make sure my mouth is right at the speaker and sometimes open the rubber piece where charging port is and talk directly there. #2 Problem is dust gets inside the cover very easily after cleaning and constantly. I’m not sure how cause it’s completely sealed. I have OCD and I hate when I’m on my phone and I see lint and dust inside the screen. #3 Problem I’ve only removed screws twice to clean basically once a month, cause it’s a pain to remove screws and replace. And just that first time 2 screws would not go back in. It’s not the screws that are stripped because I’ve tried all the other extra screws and none of them will screw in. Has to be the bottom part of case where they screw into. Now the 2nd time I cleaned the phone I have an additional two screws that will not screw back in and again tried all of the extra screws with mo avail. Now I have 4 out of 6 screw ports with no screws because they pop right back out and will not screw into the back shield. 2 missing are at the top of the phone so I have to push top and bottom together with my fingers to shut the On and Off volume Switch on my phone. Walking around with a case half off after only 3 months, because of this. So I may be looking for another case or may contact customer service first.

This is my second case. My first was for an iPhone 14 pro. Why buy one for an iPhone 16 pro...well lets say solid product. Had the 14 fall off the back of my ride around 30 mph, bounce along some hot road surface and not have a scratch or a crack. So I have had the chance to drop test this in a way many would not and have it survive. One note, just check the screws now and then as they might loosen...or use some blue/med locktite. UPDATE: Need to know if there is a warranty on this and if I missed it. Had the case for a few months, needed to take my phone out and one of the pins on the back side broke off. Still a great case, no idea why the pin broke from a simple unbolting.

It's plastic not aluminum. Pros: very protective on the front, top , bottom and sides. Should protect better than sup case and Otterbox defender. Big so Harder to lose. Con: bulky , fills pocket, large , less protective on back. Pro: seals with 6 Allen screw/bolts so probably it's waterproof. iPhones MAY be waterproof but Apple has zero warranty for any water damage. Cons: they can be lost, or damaged if over tightened. Pro : has a lanyard hole. Pro: has a push and pull switch for the silent ring switch. Pro: has a built in screen protector.

One of the best cases out there as far as rugged durability but with 2 rather annoying issues 1. The color tends to fade and rub off in the high friction areas. Chips anywhere that hits anything solid. 2. The rubber on the back has bubbled out to a comical proportion. I can squish it flat but then it’ll just bubble back out in about 5 seconds which also casts serious doubt onto the waterproof feature as air is clearly moving in and out of the case. This case will do its job well as far as protecting your phone but it’s not pretty after the wear and tear sets in.

If you’re wanting to make sure your phone is protected properly from the daily onslaught of life you should be buying this type of phone case. I’ve four children as well as me and wife that have had this type of cases on our phones for years now. I can’t say enough about how good they are. I’ve tried other types and all fail to be as good. This type of case not only protects your costly phone but gives peace of mind.

Best phone case for everywhere, also for gaming. Lol because I got mad from a game so I threw my phone very hard at a door and the case had no cracks, my phone looked brand new, and everything was fine.

Definitely keeps the phone dry as the description says! Fits the phone great and makes the phone a bit bigger but I need that because I am in man holes all the time. I got the yellow so that just in case I do drop it in a manhole at work, I’ll be able to see it better. The installation was easy and self explanatory. I do have to press a bit harder when I type and when it does get wet, it still press different areas of the phone when you are trying to type which isn’t too bad considering your phone itself is dry. Just kind of hard to type when it’s raining(again I knew that was going to happen) The only reason I am giving it a 4/5 is because it will not fit any other charger except the regular small iPhone charger. If you have a different brand, the plastic will not allow you to fit it well. Beside that, I love this case
