BURLYBrand Black 14&Prime, Ape Hanger Cable/Brake Kit B30-1000

Took off old clutch cable and went to install the new cable. The new ones threads don’t even touch the threads in the primary to screw in and just slides through and can visibly see they are not the same size.

This is the second time i purchase these cables for my bikes. The first set I’ve had it for about three years now with no problems. Easy to install with minimal mechanical experience.

So, on my set up, has six inch riser and installed 12 inch burley narrow ape hangers. The 14 inch cable kit did not fit. However I ordered the 16 inch cable kit and as you can see, they fit perfect. The clutch able is a little long but ran through the inside of the forks. The 14 inch would have to be on the outside and it created a hard bent to the cable.They look good, but the clutch does not seem as good quality as the factory. But it works good and for the money you pay, it’s worth it. Down fall to the burly ape hangers, someone mention about grip feeling sticky and mine does the same. Overall, I do recommend this kit.

Really liked the easiness of getting a complete kit to install taller bars. Seems to be good quality and made well.

Clutch cable broke before i could even grab the wrench to snug it up today. Total garbage metal. Leave me feeling weary of using any of the other cables. I wouldnt buy these again.

nice set but threads on the clutch cable are aluminum and broke while threading into the transmission case

Easy install and good quality. Little overpriced for what it is though

I am suprised at how nice of a cable kit this is. I installed it on a 02 sportster xl883 and the electrical wires were long enough to reach with some slack. I didn't need the wire extensions. The installation wasn't too difficult. It only took a couple of hours to get everything put on.
