50 Liter Dual Recycle Bin - Silver

I don't normally do reviews, but this Home Zone Living 13 Gallon Slim trash can is awesome! I really wish I would have discovered it a long time ago. I have a bad back and I recently had back surgery. This has been so easy to use since that surgery. It is a great height for me (I'm 5'3"). The sizes for the recycle and the trash are perfect for my current needs. I am an avid recycler and I really appreciate the depth of the recycle can. It doesn't fit large boxes, but that's okay because those can just go straight out to the recycle dumpster. The foot pedal is easy to use and works great. It opens the lid just long enough to put the trash or recycle in and closes quietly. Plus, if you need it to stay open, just lift the lid a little further and it will stay open. I'm guessing in the future, I will probably change the cans to the opposite use. I usually have more recycling than I do garbage/trash. But because I'm recovering from surgery, I'm trying not to do dishes and using recycled paper plates and bowls, so I have more garbage/trash than I normally have. This Home Zone Living 13 Gallon Slim trash can has definitely been a back saver for me. Another note: if I have guests, they don't have to ask if I have recycling. It's very evident when you open the trash can that there is a recycle can and a trash can. I appreciate that because too many guests automatically throw everything in the regular trash. I'm hoping it can be incentive for them to start recycling as well.

I know this is advertised as a kitchen trash can, but it has been literally the best thing I could have bought for my nursery!! I use the black bin to put all my babies dirty laundry and the blue bin to put all the dirty diapers/ trash. It makes things so easy and convenient next to my changing table and the best part is that it looks like it belongs in the room with its sleek white finish and how it helps to cut down on nasty odors from diapers and dirty laundry. The cans are very easy to remove and you can tell this product was quality made with how durable it is. This is a must buy!

I’ve had this trash can for 3 years now, but I have some problems that started 6-8months into use. This is a great trash can. I like that I can separate trash and recycling and even without their fancy bags regular bags fit decent too! Easy to clean fingerprints and overall looks good and doesn’t take up too much space. The bins themselves aren’t super odor resistant, but if you clean them out every so often it’s not a big deal. My few complaints. After about 6 months, It rusts very easily so make sure to keep the lid clean. That’s on me though. But the other issue is that the slow close doesn’t work anymore. It just slams shut now. It used to close nice and slow every time, but it doesn’t work anymore, it probably worked for about 8 months and then started slamming shut. I wanna say it’s because I used the stay open feature too much? But I also unscrewed everything to see what the problem was and couldn’t find an issue. It seems like the lid is too heavy for the slow close piston to work slow enough which obviously makes no sense because the lid is the same weight and it used to work. If I could get this issue fixed it would definitely be a 5 stay review. See video for the non operating “slow close” feature.

** UPDATE: bought in 2021, it is now 2024 and the can is still in good shape although the foot mechanism doesn’t work as great, the lid doesn’t go up as far as it used to. Love this trash can, was skeptical on paying this much for one but it’s worth it! (Also keep an eye on it as the price seems to change often from $121-$107 from what I’ve seen, wish I had waited as I paid $20 more than what it was listed as the very next day). If you’re looking for an all in one trash can that has a trash section and a recycle section this is perfect, especially after comparing to similar ones on Amazon this had the best reviews (and I see why now!). The trash portion fits a large amount of trash and the recycling portions is a tad bit small which is perfect as our ration of trash is much larger than the recyclables. Very sturdy, can inserts remove easily, and have a portion where you can secure the bags. As long as you put the bag in correctly and adjust a little you don’t see the bag sticking out when the lid is shut (big pet peeve of mine). Love the slow silent closing mechanism and also having the option to leave the lid open when needed. Highly recommend!

It’s my new favorite thing! I never thought I would say that about a trash and recyclable can but this combo is great! I added some cute magnets And it’s narrow frame sits nicely in the lichen I have always been an under the counter sink person but we don’t have the cabinet space underneath the sink to accommodate a large enough kitchen can and this has a recyclable feature too! I actually don’t even miss the discreetness of under the cabinet, because this thing is so amazing and functional I purchased two magnets for trash and for recycle in pretty farmhouse cursive style and writing and I think together it looks like a piece of art in my kitchen Great deal too!!

This is a space-saving way to combine trash & recycling in one receptacle. It has a very clean look and is easy to dispose of trash & recycling separately. I must add that the original one I ordered became defective after less than 3 months. I contacted the company and they sent me a replacement. I would definitely buy products from Home Zone Living again.

Overall a good trash can, but the mechanism for the pedal is not as durable as one would like for the price.

Months later I still love this product!! Enuf said.

I recently purchased this product and am very pleased with the look, quality and capacity. Aesthetically it looks very nice, is a good quality product and the open / close feature functions well. The thing I like the most about this model is the size. I wanted a large capacity as I will be using one bin for composting and the larger one for blue bin recycling, as I have another can for garbage. The large capacity exceeded my expectations! I would definitely recommend purchasing this product.

Excellent garbage, recycle bin. Solid and sturdy. Regular garbage bags will fit in and they have a hole and a rubber element on the side to hold the bags in place! the individual garbage and recycle bins can be taken out and cleaned. I also like the fact that the lid can be left opened, so you don't have to press the pedal all the time. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this product!!

This is great in my small apartment kitchen for keeping things looking tidy. I use it to store my recyclables and it is big enough to do the job. streamlined, sleek, and functional. Matches my Garbage bin and appliances. The stainless look is hard to keep looking clean even though there is a foot lever and don't require touching it with dirty hands. I still like it regardless.

If I want to be short, I have to say it is beautiful, high quality and most importantly, it works quietly and quietly 👍
